Its a quaint and simple rpg that was worth it. excited to see it leave early access so i can play more
It does have a fishing minigame, so full points there, and I was genuinely surprised to see some of the choices I made early on actually end up mattering throughout the first chapter. I played the flippant mage and committed to that characterization in my dialogue choices only to actually feel bad for it when the game remembered those choices later on. I did not personally run into the technical issues others have named but I did play it earlier in EA than those reviews. While I've not finished the game I was intrigued enough to at least want to go back and try out other character's first chapters. I give it a thumbs up overall.
Playing Alterium Shift has been a great experience so far! I'm loving the adventurous atmosphere and have been having a blast exploring the world. Each character is unique, with engaging dialogue that adds depth to the story. I love that there's opportunity to replay the game over and over and experience new storylines each playthrough, even with replaying the same character and making different choices. And of course, the fishing mini-game is a delightful and relaxing addition. Overall, I'm enjoying the game so far and highly recommend it for anyone seeking a charming and well-rounded adventure.
Its a really nice 2.5D RPG that gives me a nostalgic feeling of the time when i played pixel styled RPG on PS1 and the other old consoles. Dev´s are really nice and try to fix problems ASAP!! Im in touch with them right now to fix/let them know about minor (or major) issues that occur in my walkthrough and i really enjoy chatting with them. Also.. its still Early Access so its fine for me when smaller bugs appear.. thats what the EA is for so we can enjoy the game while it still gets better and improves so.. At this point the story is far from done and im really looking forward to play the game once its finished and see the proper ending. @Mottzy Keep it up!!
This game has a lot of potential, and I hope they continue adding more content. It’s still in early access, by the way. Also, Drattzy Games LLC, please consider adding more language options once the game is fully completed!
Love this game so far! Aside from the obviously gorgeous visuals, the game has a fun spin on the story with multiple characters that go through variations of the main story. As well as each getting cool unique abilities that let them interact with the world differently. And having completely different styles of combat. I love how much personality all the characters have! It just oozes out of the writing, I think sage has got to be my favorite. And even though its a little harsh it is entertaining how your actions have consequences when picking meaner dialogue options. Story is still taking shape but what here seems to be leading up to something great. Really excited to come back for the full release!
My experience with the game is going well so far! Awesome first town and introductory stage, I can't wait to see what effects the choices I make have on it. Definitely like an old school JRPG vibe to it, but with the 3D environment that makes it a lot better for me personally. Couple of minor things like a UI issue encountered when saving, but it is early access.
Fun game with a really good art style of a mix of 3D and 2D with a good story and battle mechanics with very nice developers that will help you if you have a problem with anything
I'll say this first to be clear: this is a decent game, but not a finished one. For example, area's of the game are large and relatively empty of content, ambient noises are missing, and, at least in the beginning, story feels rushed and a bit goofy. However, this isn't a deal breaker (again, it's an early access game). The artwork is wonderful, if a bit simple in some places. The background music is nice. And I really want to see where this story is going.
Alterium shift is a very fun and interesting experience to play through the storyline is very well made and The characters are each super unique to play as making each time I play as a different character (Atlas is my fav) like a new experience. There are improvements that can be made, but overall the game is very fun to play through and a good experience.
