About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Great Fun in the Aliens spirit
This could end up being a really good sequel to Fireteam Elite 1. In its current form, it's a waste of money. Less content, buggy, what content IS there feels like it's just copy and pasted from the first. Missing classes from the first too. Just play the first.

No idea why all the negative reviews. Been playing for 14+ hours and I enjoy it as much as I did Fireteam Elite 1.
If you enjoyed the first Fireteam game, this game is more of that but with one extra player on the team. If you haven't played the first game and wanted to get an idea on how the game plays; The gameplay will feel very janky compared to newer games released within the last few years.
I'm not going to lie I love this game and already maxed two classes and intend to still play and max the rest. But in the current state until they fix some bugs I can't recommend this game. The big issue is sometimes the red crate will give you rewards but when you finish the mission it won't give them to you (emotes.) Same for the faction kills rewarded perks (the 10% dmg to that faction after you killed enough of the faction.) They'll pop up and say you got rewarded the perk but then you can't find it in your menus. Little not game breaking problems would be the random screen tearing / lag going to certain spots on some missions where it will happen almost 7/10 times along side some texture issues here and there. Positives though if you enjoyed the first game you'll love this game. Sometimes it can feel harder or easier depending on team comp. Big down side is if you do the friendly fire difficulties your experience depends on if people don't over do strafing (walking into your shots) and also don't just shoot you with fire or explosives even when you stand still though it can be hard because you get swarmed way more than the first game. Edit: I forgot to add that another set of bugs involves interacting with boxes or medkits during missions or horde mode. Sometimes it won't let you open boxes or pick up medkits (can lead to randoms thinking you didn't want it.) None of these issues were fixed with their first patch.
Not had any bad performance issues or anything else, runs well, plays well. only frustrating thing is people randomly leave a mission halfway through.
Very good COOP shooter, with some minor bugs.
as of this review i have finished the campaign of the game i have my PROS and CONS Pros -loadouts have been improved a lot weapons are not too restricted to classes -enemy's have great designs and fighting styles -gameplay has been improved a lot -glad they added 4 players instead of the 3 Cons -story is boring -animation and interaction are weird and wasn't really changed from the last game would prefer the conversation between npc's to keep going instead of me spamming W, A , S -AI seems to be a little stupid i have found some times the enemy will just stand there and do nothing NOTE:( played on standard difficulty opinion might change) overall i would give this game a 7/10 game has bugs but that is expected on a day 1 release i was very concerned when i saw that the game was mostly negative but i found out to wasn't to accurate hope this game gets some fixes and hopefully the keep this game going and add more improved story missions. P.S. please kill piper and raptor they are the most annoying characters ive listen to, there like nails on a chalk board.
