Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 17 → 5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It's not the worst game of all time but it sure is dissapointing. Still, if you are a fan of Aliens be sure to give it a go as it's not without its momements and you can play it with friends. Serves as a great reminder to never pre-order anything as the E3 demo looked much, much better. A very generous 6/10 from a life-long Aliens fan, 3 or 4 for anyone else.
Game is decent not too bad, can get repetitive if playing solo. Game is highly playable on lower end PC's multiplayer is pretty dead unless you can find other players to play with on this game. if you're alien fan go ahead buy this game but it doesn't have too much to offer.
I don't think I can say a lot about Aliens: Colonial Marines that hasn't been said before. The history, the development hell, the release disaster and the bugs. So I won't. What I can do is review this from someone who didn't follow the development at that time. That went into this knowing that it's going to be bad. That only expected bad things from this game. First, a PSA: There are quite a few things to do before you start playing this game that can improve the experience. I recommend going to pcgamingwiki before playing. So I expected the game to be abhorrent. A failure in every aspect possible. So how was it? It was actually ok. The story is bad. It's nonsense at the best of times and the dialogue is bad. Very bad. The voice acting is also subpar. The graphics is pretty bad for 2011. It looks like a mid tier 2007 game mostly, with games like Bioshock looking much better. The gameplay is.... serviceable. It's not great but it works. The ai isn't the best but it's serviceable. The weapons are ok, even tough they don't feel correct in terms of the lore of Aliens. There's some irritating sections (Like the loader vs alien bossfight) but overall, I never got too irritated. It's just a boring, run of the mill shooter. I can't really recommend this for most people. Only get this if you're curious about video game history or if you like bad games. I know you guys are out there.
Don't care what anyone says this was an amazing game. What needs to happen is another aliens game like it but with full native VR support and 5 player coop. But avoid making the aliens bullet sponges like in rogue incursion. Just out more of them.
DownLoadable Content.
OXY(g)ЕH+HОЕ
(two)
[dies from cringe]
A janky but groundbreaking contender for 2003's Game Of The Year, except it came out a decade after that. Ignoring when it was released and taking it at current value, I still don't think I recommend it; even at steep discount. I'll start with the good points: there's some interesting direction in the art style that did catch my eye - the colour palette and occasional washed-out nature of the environs felt faithful to the 1986 movie Aliens, and the almost-obnoxious glare effect caused lighting is an intentional choice that fits the atmosphere. It feels somewhere between watching it through the helmet cams they wore, or viewing the world through a grimy visor that needs a good wash only slightly less than you do. With regards to the weapons: I'm always happy to hear an M41A pulse rifle sound and am not disappointed there, and I feel like the really terrible accuracy and swaying sight picture feels like someone scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in combat against an enemy they previously could never comprehend. However. At some point in development the studio pushed so hard for a co-op focus that it detracts from the single player experience. When you die, you have to wait an inordinately long time to respawn, staring at a grey filter over a third person camera looking at your dead body. It shows in the menus and the weird levelling/progression systems; like you're being punished for playing this in the 2020s on a computer rather than on an og xbox and a couch with some buddies. The story feels rushed, the starting characters have never encountered xenomorphs but quickly get up to date with lifecycle and biology. There's some moments of character development but little enough that they feel like 2-dimensional pastiches of Gears Of War. Everything happens so quickly, a constant rush and each major plot point/twist doesn't have enough attention devoted to make it feel meaningful and it's all over relatively quickly. I do love that Lance Henriksen and Michael Biehn could reprise their roles but their efforts are tainted by shocking audio mixing for voices.
Sad to give it a thumbs down. It's a neat retro game. Feels like Halo and Red Faction Guerilla (without the geomod). If the price wasn't 30€ I'd say grab it. At <5€ it'll be fine if you're looking for a Halo-like a game. lol Graphics is actually quite good, especially for it's age. The 4090 runs at ~600Mhz @ <30% load, it's ridiculous. The gameplay is fun and they put quite some effort into everythig. It's just...old and **too expensive** (29,99€) .
