Aliens: Colonial Marines Collection

With the AI fix in the config file it's easily one of the best co-op games out there. + Story is decent and faithful to the lore from that era + Plenty of gamemodes + Progression system both for Your character and weapons + Decent customization for both

When it was released, this game was, honestly, a bit of a letdown. I played it on XBox 360 the first time and it was "fine". It's biggest failure was not living up to my expectations. Playing it again, this time knowing what I was getting, I realized it's actually better than I'd remembered. It's no game of the year, and I'll still say that Aliens: Fireteam Elite is more of what I had wanted out of this game, but it's still a fun time, clunky controls and all. Pick it up for cheap, waste some time, enjoy the sound and music.

[/h1] [h2] Warning some spoilers for A.C.M, aliens and alien 3 [/h2] PROS: After finishing the campaign all I have to say is that the game is pretty solid most of the mechanics are decent and I enjoyed the majority of the main story missions + the actual story, the maps looked like something from the Alien franchise and I liked the weapon mods and modules. This is a great game to pick up during a Steam sale for those how are looking for another shooter to play (I recommend using controller). CONS: bloom, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BLOOM. every one knows the line "short controlled bursts" well you cant do short bursts to limit bloom, it will slow it down yes, but only by 0.5 seconds now yes using the sights limits the bloom even more but on some weapons It dose little to none at all. You can be attacked while doing objectives that prevent movement, like yes I know your suppose to be doing this with a friend but if you have no friends then the AI will help, but 85% of the time they will be defending themselves to help. The game has a lot of fan service but I'll cover that in the spoilers section. If you are a avid Aliens fan then you will not like this part (spoilers) [spoiler] so Hadliys hope is intact even after the atmosphere generator (that had the explosive power of a nuke) went boom even the A.P.C that was close by to the gen and you can also find Newts doll (same story as the A.P.C). Hicks is also alive in this story which I think Hudson should have survived due to him only being taking away and nothing stating that he died but I digress. if you still thinking about playing I'll stop spoiling cause there is a ton more Alien references. but I still would recommend [/spoiler]

I remember playing this game on my Xbox 360 and having a blast. I couldn't tell you how happy i was to find it on steam ( with DLC's too!). This game is amazing, even if you not a big alien franchise fan this game is a great first person shooter. ♥♥♥♥ i even gifted this game to a few friends to play with, i can't wait to play it with them and share this amazing game. But in all, this game is amazing and i recommend it to everyone to try out.

Si on se base sur le jeu en lui même et sur sa campagne (qui est la seule chose jouable aujourd'hui) ; scénario qui n'a aucun sens (qui s'en fout d'Alien 3 ), jeu d'acteur des comédiens de doublages effrayant, personnages pas du tout attachant sans personnalité (dont on se fout s'ils meurent), le jeu est d'une répétition soporifique (tous est répétitif est recommence sans cesse), boss final pourri et inintéressant, les décors sont un peu répétitif également mais par moment bien foutus (pour l'époque), en revanche tous le reste a mal vieilli c'est du niveau sortie 2009 pour un jeu sorti en 2013, un an avant Alien Isolation (15000 fois meilleur à jouer clairement sur tous les points et plus beau) . Même pour un fan d'Aliens 1986, c'est épuisant de jouer le c*l assit devant ce jeu, sans intérêt, car même l'action devient lassant, tous ce qu'on souhaite après 5 heures de jeu, c'est que ce dernier s'arrête, et justement sa fin traine, avec des actions qui se répètent encore et encore jusqu'à se qu'on souhaite de quitter ce monde. Enfin pour le mode multijoueur ect, ils sont sans intérêts puisque plus personne ne joue à ce jeu. On s'amuse vite fait pendant deux heures (si on fait abstraction des jeu d'acteur et des dialogues à en vouloir commettre un meurtre), le reste devient un calvaire à endurer jusqu'à sa fin, qui est en plus mais pouuuurrriiii, POURRIII à un point où j'ai éclaté de rire mais surtout de rire nerveux et de souffrance... Ca a été un des pires jeux auxquels j'ai joué... Je déconseille fortement, même pour les fans comme moi, aller plutôt vers Alien Isolation qui est un chef d'oeuvre du genre, mais qui se base sur le premier film de Ridley Scott.

Was hoping the Overhaul mod would make it decent if nothing else, but this game is a lost cause.

Впервые поиграл в эту игру в 2026, когда все страсти вокруг нее уже давно утихли. Да это не шедевр, но вполне крепкий середнячок на один раз. Фанатам вселенной Чужих точно должно зайти. Игра не сильно продолжительная, поэтому не успевает надоесть. Сюжет слабоват, особенна его часть связанная с капралом Хигсом. Багов хватает, напарники тупят, враги иногда тоже. Графика даже для тех лет невзрачная. В общем как будто бы минусов больше, чем плюсов. Тем не менее прошел ее всю и даже не разу не возникло мысли бросить. Возможно потому что я как раз и есть фанат вселенной Чужих, а весь этот скандал вокруг игры был уже давно и уже не так важен. После запуска первой миссии, сначала кажется, что все совсем плохо, но если потерпеть и поиграть дальше, то игра незаметно затягивает. А значит это, что не так уж она и плоха. Поэтому попробовать точно стоит, но брать наверное, стоит только по скидке.
