Overall, I recommend it. The pulse rifle is very annoying to aim. In other games, I can lean right and left, but it locks you to full vertical standing once you are aiming down the sights. I started using the revolver over the pulse rifle. The thing that really sold it for me was the shoulder light, and being able to wear a hardhat that I picked up off the ground lmao. The shoulder light is just special, I really feel like I'm exploring some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up place when I have to engage my entire body to look around and look for bugs on the ceiling. Also there IS a pause menu where you can adjust settings, but you can only see it if you correctly set the game up.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Three strikes, we're out. Virtual Reality wouldn't have petered out and died if it could have been spared from the following: joystick drift, the Unreal Engine, and OpenXR.
what an awesome Alien experience, and I look forward to part two of the game
Mal optimizado
Resultado: a missão ficou bloqueada.
Davon bekommt man Augenkrebs! Kein deutsches Audio = Schrott!
Just the ALIEN experience I've always been looking for. Cornered by xenomorphs, running low on ammo, acting on instinct. Realizing that facehuggers are lurking nearby, proceeding with maximum caution, and trying frantically to aim before it jumps at you. Leaving ammo at strategic spots just in case. Having an android buddy. Figuring out how to beat the menacing "praetorian" alien boss. As a VR game, I have no complaints. Almost everything works intuitively. Reloading weapons and setting up proximity grenades is highly satisfying. Rogue Incursion VR is a better experience than the Alien: Isolation VR mod, which unfortunately has a very clumsy inventory/item UI. Those who are are giving this thumbs down are illegal aliens or Weyland-Yutani employees. All I can say to them is "did IQ's just drop sharply while I was away?"
Excellent game for lovers of the franchise. This is as close as you get to being IN IT, and it is a blast.
Played on Meta Quest 3 headset with wired Link mode. I'm feeling a 7/10. Admittedly I did get this one at 75% off (like $5 regional pricing) and I'm only a very casual Alien fan, but I actually liked this one more than I thought I would with an overall-Mixed score game. The good: Voice acting is decent, Alien atmosphere is well done (has the familiar sounds and sights), plenty of physics objects to toss around, good interactivity with weapons and reloading them, fancy full-body system allowing you to grab gear off your person, reasonably functional object grabbing, "only" 3 weapons and grenades but feels sufficient for the gameplay. Overall rather fun and had my excited enough to want to play it for long hours headset-strapped. ...but here comes the complaints I want to air out: 1. Somewhat choppy performance. The settings go up to Ultra - having most at High (Textures and AA on Ultra) still produced some palpable hitching in several areas of the game. I couldn't monitor my FPS while in-game, but it's the kind where I would notice my game start to stutter in VR (falling under the headset's refresh rate?). Sure, maybe the graphics are future-ready and I need only lower the settings, but: 2. Oddly blurry visuals, even with High+ settings. Graphics past a few feet ahead of me start looking blurry, which I presume is due to LOD effect kicking in. It's quite a bit closer than I'd like, and muddies the visuals quite a bit. Even up close it's not as crisp as I feel it could be. I hadn't really dug so deeply into graphics settings tweaking, I admit, but I'm left wondering how much more enjoyable it could be with crispy clean visibility. 3. A ton of physics jank. The full-body character is great and all, but the player's elbows get caught on things too much. The many-many cardboard boxes in the game are way heavier (your hands move slower while grabbing onto something) than they ought to be. Clipping-galore happens almost every time I try to grab supplies out of the box (a whole LOT of them in this game). 4. Lack of auto-saves resulting in dependence on running to save points a whole lot. I like the challenge on Hard difficulty -- but I wish I didn't get sent back so many minutes back in time dying at tough wave segments. I relied a lot on running off to make a manual save after clearing sections. Not maddening, but certainly annoying enough given the amount of tough segments. 5. Pule Rifle feels a little lacking in ripping through xenos. Okay, I'm not a huge Alien-head so I don't really know how bulletproof a xenomorph ought to be, but it feels like it takes a bit too many blasts from the Pulse Rifle to stagger and keep them back. I almost always have to suffer a hit from encounters (hey, it's tough in VR) because the PR doesn't rip through them or even stagger them (there's an animation - the shotgun does it much more effectively). I might have enjoyed combat a bit more if the xenos were more numerous but die quicker. 6. ...and the other little setbacks. NPC's voice not playing at one point, getting stuck with my legs clipping through a crate (had to reload to get out), and a bunch of other imperfections that marred the experience a little. I feel the game would be aces if it weren't for these setbacks, but hey, I liked it enough despite these complaints.
