Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Honest opinion from a person that has logged many hours into both AEW and 2K. While I admit the game has it's faults and isn't exactly perfect. It still gives you that arcade feel that games like WWE Day Of Reckoning or Wrestle Kingdom gave you. Most people try to tell you it's like WWF No Mercy. It plays more like Wrestle Kingdom I & II or DOR 1 & 2 than No Mercy. If you're wanting a simulation style game this honestly is NOT for you then. Yes, the models are off putting. But you'd be amazed at what the community has done to remedy that recently. Plus the fact that AEW Games themselves opened the game to be modded in a public forum on their own discord server. If you wanna give the game it's fair shake people have modded this game with free mods out there that update the models with more of a 2K look. I highly recommend you check out The Modding Zone on discord for a ton of free mods. https://discord.com/invite/quA97jnJwz (Modding Zone Discord Server)- Completely free (Only catch is that you have to stay be in the server for at least 30 days to prove you're not a snatch and run kind of person)

It's not a perfect game but one thing it does "slobberknockerly" well is making moves feel as if it is actually devastating. Moves to the barricade and the entrance screen makes a lot of difference. Wish they could have add a load of wrestlers more though: Takeshita, Fletcher, Thekla, and The Timeless version of Toni Storm
One of the best wrestling games I've played in over 23 years. Thank you... That's all I have to say. Please bring def jam back too? Thank you thank you 🙏🏼🤙🏼
I know this game is not very popular, but as someone who still considers the old AKI N64 titles to be the best wrestling games, I can totally recommend this game. When I played this initially I wasn't too hyped, but after I gave it another chance, I was hooked. Even my old N64 muscle memory kicked in at some parts. There might be an argument to be made, that this game and especially the season passes are too expansive. Especially as there might be room for improvement, like having more content (season mode with more options, more moves - then again you can never have enough moves). With a fairer price this is easily an 8 out of 10 game for me. The only complain I have is that the PC version only shows the XBox controller layout and there doesn't seem to be an option to switch to the Playstation controller layout. Come on, guys, this game also came out on Playstation, give us a toogle!
I've played this game on every platform and have personally enjoyed it from day one. Really wish the big balancing patch came sooner than it did around launch. Highly advise to get the ultimate edition on sale, it's solid for the usual $20. Without a sale, it's still cheaper to buy this game complete than a certain other title in 2026. It's an alternative. I'm a fan of fighting games. It's more of a fighting game than what's considered a traditional "wrestling game". Controls are VERY easy to grasp, I play the minigames with my siblings all the time. Mario party vibes. The features pushed the competition to change. Now we see intergender matches, thumbtacks, and interactive weapon/object physics. As well as entrance controls for emotes and pyro in other places. It definitely is lacking match types that you're used to. The creation is not as deep as other titles. The single player side is not a fully fleshed out experience. The critiques and complaints are true. However, it's been my favorite wrestling adjacent game in the last decade. As far as "in match" goes, there's no comparison for what it delivers. Hell, the battle royal mode was even fun for a little while.
I bought the game on sale. My kid and I have been having fun playing the game. They need to add more match types and customization for the wrestlers/rings. They also need to not give up on the game and keep adding content every year. If they do that the game could be great.
Its fun and scratches the itch
Kinda meh & clunky. Not what you'd want but it's what we've got. It's not awful but I'd say for die-hard fans only mostly.
needs cage matches
It's a fun, brain off, PS2 era wrestling game. This is not your big heavy mocap cinematic experience. Just look at some gameplay, know what you're getting in to and it'll be fine.
