Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition

The game is well-crafted; however, the gunplay isn't very satisfying. In the original AvP titles, shooting an alien would physically break them apart. They aren't particularly resistant to bullets (unless you're dealing with Praetorians), and it was incredibly immersive to see how shooting their legs would force them to crawl toward you. Ideally, they should be much faster and more merciless, but also more vulnerable when hit. The atmosphere is nice, but there is perhaps too much dialogue and a lack of variety in the environments. Everything feels repetitive, with the only real distinction being between indoor and outdoor areas. Overall, it’s a solid effort, but as a huge Alien fan, it’s not something I would choose to replay

The game is fun but will say the lack of directional tools makes it very frustrating at times to figure out both where you're supposed to be going and what you're supposed to be doing.

Extremely fun, In a good way Incursion reminds me of the xbox 360 era linear first person shooter campaign games that weren't overly complicated or impressive but were just a fun time, and this game excels at just that, being fun and engaging for the duration of it's story. They've also absolutely nailed the atmosphere and sound design, I felt genuine paranoia at times playing through certain sections, plus the pulse rifle sounds PERFECT. As a fan of the Alien franchise I'm happy to see a solid Alien fps, and in spite of the news about the studio layoffs I'm really hoping a part 2 comes one day Highly recommended

Not a very good game. The repetitive gameplay becomes boring surprisingly quickly, but the worst part is the voice acting. You don't even get to choose your character, so you're stuck playing an insufferable woman whose dialogue and delivery quickly become grating. Thankfully, the game is very short, so you don't have to put up with her for too long. Even at €9, I regret buying it. Had I done a bit more research beforehand, I would have skipped it entirely, and that's saying something, because I'm a huge Alien fan. Do yourself a favour, don't buy this garbage.

- Quand on est un fan de la franchise, on regarde pas la queue de l'alien qu'on achète. Et je ne regrette rien, pourtant… - Notre héroïne et pas une inconnue. Déjà célèbre dans plusieurs comics, elle a su montrer son potentiel, sans jamais égaler les meilleurs. Pourtant, dans ce jeu, elle a le charisme d'un Mélenchon en fin de vie… Oui, je reconnais que l'image peut être difficile. Cependant je maintiens. - Le scénario est aussi épais (bonjour les nombreuses lectures absolument inutiles), inintéressant (Vive les allers-retours) et inachevé (même pour une première partie…) que les promesses de Macron… (J'en dirai pas plus pour pas être désobligeant). - Quant aux graphismes, aux animations et autres bugs IA, on m'a toujours dit de ne pas juger sur le physique, et encore moins les handicapés, alors je n'en ferai rien par respect pour eux. - Et pour finir, le gameplay est aussi vide que le PIB de la France et le bestiaire aussi riche qu'une réunion avec Mathilde P, Marine T et Sandrine R… (encore une fois je n'en dirai pas plus…) - Cependant je n'ai pas passé un mauvais moment et, pourtant, je ne suis pas un homme déconstruit ! On peut ouvrir et fermer les portes, l'ambiance est pas trop mal… (ce gratte la gorge) - En fait c'est un peu comme Alien : Colonial Marines… - Si vous êtes fan de la franchise, avec une promotion, pourquoi pas… Mais sinon passez votre chemin, vous vivrez plus longtemps et plus heureux. Plein d'amour sur vous tous.

Pretty buggy game. Seen Xenomorphs stop moving and even seen them floating in the air. Also the game is so broken to a point where I can no longer make any progress. The writing isn't great either.

The game freezes completely after the intro, locking up the active window. It becomes impossible to switch to other windows, even the Task Manager, so a hard reset is the only solution. I tried twice (watching the entire intro each time, since the developers didn't bother making it skippable, which is the standard in other games). Since the game doesn't work - refund.
