waiting for part 2
What started as a frustrating experience became one of my favorite VR games. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the franchise. Graphics are good actually, especially indoors in an artificial pre-fab enviroment. Certainly not as bad as the reviews called it out. Explosions suck tho. I hated it at first due to the sluggish arm movement, meant to simulate the weight of weapons and carried items. Starting with the rifle, which is one of the heaviest items in the game, made the entire experience feel awful. However, as I got a new medium-weight weapon (which was waaay more controllable) and gotten more comfortable shooting, the system clicked perfectly. Even the odd, hard-baked ADS mechanic became 2nd nature. I specifically enjoyed how different weapons and tools were spread around your body. The quest markers in some parts of the game could be better, but once you get familiar with the map you move throughout it rather freely, knowing where to go almost by instinct. While I do consider this a full game, there is a very clear path to a Part 2. Unfortunately most of the studio was shut off and developers fired, so I wouldn't hold my hopes up. But damn, would I love to see it. Given that the game is not that long, I recommend getting it on sale if given the chance. Yes, there is very high polish and production value, but the full price is a wee bit silly - having beaten it in 8,5h after all.
ran like a perfeclty but i also have a custom loop on a thermal T port and all is cooled by metal past not standed but other then that runs fast grahics are relliy good and ya dont wast amo lol also first jump scrare omg set the tone you get used too it but still in tence
優化太爛,惡性BUG太多,地圖往返跑很煩躁 物件抓取不準確,霰彈槍位置跟燈光位置太近 想在VR裡面看異形,打到骨折價的話可以考慮買
0/10 too many xenos
The idea of the game is much better than the game itself, extremely poor perf, clunky af, gunplay is boring, xenos feeling like bulletsponges, voice acting is meh the vibe is there tho
Was fun, liked how dangeorus they are! I love how the save points are spread out; it makes the encounters more intense.
7/10 Great story and gameplay, movement felt janky at times but it has great shooting, purosexo
Note: I have played the entire game, my playtime logged is not accurate. I recommend this game - It is very good, with some caveats. Cons First: - The game is a bit "wobbly" and "Janky" in two ways: The player body, weapon and environment interaction is inertia based, and not very refined. This causes the occasional wobbly held object or gun to spazz out for a moment. Some messy interactions and dead aliens that fly a few meters, etc. The game would have been better served with a high frequency movement filter to simulate weight/inertia instead of the physical-based method they chose. - Map traversal is a bit messy and confusing. Not in a game-breaking way, and not bad or frustrating, but irritating at times. You may find yourself back tracking or walking in circles around the large, complex map as it isn't clear how to get to your destination indicated on the map. While this happened to me sometimes it never caused me grief. just wasted my time a bit. - The game does indeed end on a cliffhanger. The story is not at all resolved in this game. I was quite invested in the plot, and found this to be disappointing (especially since it isn't likely we will get Part 2) The game has an interesting plot. It isn't complete. It ends on a total cliffhanger. I have seen folks arguing against this, stating this game has a complete, self contained story. This is not factually correct. - Aliens, when killed, do not dismember, gib, or splatter etc. They just ragdoll and die, and then disintegrate and melt into the floor leaving a shallow burn crater. I miss gibs. I miss gore. This is an Alien game. Why isn't there any gore? - Saving your game is done in "Safe rooms" and only in these rooms. This adds tension to the game and is a neat mechanic, but as always "we are old and busy, and have things to do" Manual saving any time would be ideal. - The game contains a performance issue where a hitching stutter occurs when areas of the map are loading in, so during elevator rides, or moving from one area to another you may find the game stutters. Pros: - The game looks excellent - The world design is excellent. approaching Alien: Isolation. Not that refined, and more repetitive, but excellent, and true to the universe. - The sounds are mostly very good (weapons, gadgets and incidental noises are good. Environmental distant sounds are excellent. Very spooky and punchy - Music is excellent. - The flow of gameplay is very enjoyable. Opening things, looting, reading lore, doing computer stuff, cool combat moments, scary surprises, story progression, twists and turns. - The voice acting is very good - The game is basically free of irreverence or "marvel humour". It takes itself seriously. - The game is scary and has some disturbing moments. - The game performs well overall, and fairly consistently given my couple-generation old specs (3080, 5800X3D) I played the game at Epic settings on every option.
A Must Have for Alien franchise fans. But it is more horror and shooter compared to the original Alien Isolation look and feel survival horror game. It is a shame that we probably won't get Part II. The game is even in story mode and normal mode a pain on VR, you die quickly. And if you have the original settings with holding the weapons instead of toggling: YOU NEED TO HOLD ANY WEAPON LIKE IN REAL LIFE PERMAMNTLY NEVER LET IT FALL AND YOU NEED TO RELOAD. THIS IS CRAZY BUT ALSO THE VR EXPIERENCE PAR EXCELLENCE. THIS IS THE ULTIMATE VR GAME for ALIEN! But Alien Isolation with VR mod is also nice, but you get neck and head aches, because even with mod the Alien Isolation was not meant for VR. BUT ALIEN: ROGUE INCURSION is ESPECIALLY MADE FOR VR. Alongside Half-Life: Alyx one of the best Shooter Games for VR and this as SURVIVAL HORROR SHOOTER! THIS GAME IS A MUST-HAVE FOR VR. BUT BEWARE IT SHOCKS YOU and it is insane how your heartbeat goes up and this game is HORROR pure evil with the Aliens spawning and attacking you. You need so often to use your weapon and keep ammo.... AMMO IS RARE and even if you have AMMO, RELOADING is A THING.. THIS GAME IS 100% insane and recommended. But also in VR a pain in the a**!!! BECAUSE IT IS THE ULTIMATE VR HORROR ALIEN SURVIVAL GAME AS SHOOTER! SHOOT THE ALIENS! HIDE AND RUN! DON NOT RUN! KILL THE ALIENS OR RUN INTO PANIC ROOMS! LOTS OF WALKING AND RUNNING!
