I feel that I've had this game long enough I should write a review for it. Something I don't do very often, I guess I'm afraid I won't be able to put my thoughts onto "paper" well enough and do the game and my thoughts on it justice? Ah well, the more the merrier I guess! So. First let me start by saying this game is hard. Very hard. If you're looking for a lenient and casual experience you won't find it here. Unlike some other TD's, the game starts off hard and just gets harder from there, and there aren't any "difficulty levels". There's some combinations of towers, tower upgrades, and skill/passive upgrades that prove more effective on some levels than others, and don't be discouraged if you have to try a level more than once to see how the waves play out and always remember - a 1-star victory is still a victory! Keep at it and after playing a level a few times you'll get a better idea of what towers will be most effective there, and changing your Upgrades in the main screen to better adapt to the challenges a level presents. The graphics are fairly attractive, though don't expect much from the animations. Grenades are tossed without the Marines performing anything to indicate their throwing it for example. However, it's lovely seeing the mechanical carnage on the screen as bullets are fired and robots are destroyed. It's quite satisfying to see. There's a lot of upgrades available for the towers, and at times that's as fun as it is hindering, since as you progress through the game you'll unlock many new upgrades and tower evolutions, but you'll have more on your mind on which tower and wich path will be best and where or when. To me, that's almost half the fun here - having more to play with and more to experiment with, but just keep that in mind. All in all I've definitely enjoyed my time playing this, as hard as it can be at times! If the developers get a sequel in the works, they certainly will have my support.

So fun, buy it! Now that ive played a lot more of ARM (after finding this game too difficult my first run) I am pleasantly surprised how deep this game has turned out. After taking out the boss in swamp VI i'm even more addicted. This TD makes you think, at first you are going to think the game is so unbalanced ...but thats just you not thinking outside the box. I highly recommend ARM if you are a TD fan. ...And will be waiting for ARM two with great anticipation
迷你小遊戲,有些bug,用腳做的平衡,還算有趣
Хорошая ТД с кучей башен и улучшениями. Графика и дизайн очень ламповые. Играть можно с переводчиком на телефоне - текста мало и он простой.
I love good strategy games. Two of my favorites are Defense Grid and Bloons. Kingdom Rush is also excellent. For me, a good strategy game is challenging, but not overwhelming. It let's you win a little but also makes you learn. Most importantly, you should be able to learn and in learning, succeed. That's what makes it fun. And to do that, the game design has to feature consistent game play as well as a learnable upgrade path. Upgrades should be consistent. logical and learnable. There should be some essential information about defenses and enemies that let's you try strategies. I don't feel like this game offers that. Not only are some of the early levels very difficult, but I'm clueless how to win. How do I defeat the swarm of flying robots? More soldiers? More electro-towers? More snipers? For me, this game just became a trial and error that soon became both frustrating and rewarding. On the plus side, nice graphics and animations.
Just finished beating ARM, took 14 hours or so. If you are better at tower defense you could do it faster. For the five dollars I paid for it I think it is well worth the cost. If you like pure tower defense games (i.e. you aren't manually doing damage, always through the towers) then this is a good game for the price. The three star mechanic gives you some reason to play harder levels again to try and get three stars on every level. A solid choice for tower defense fans.
Не рекомендую.
