Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 16/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

On souffle.

Best to play in pitch black at 2 am.
Good before bad. Gameplay spoilers below and keep in mind I played on 'hard'. Great atmosphere. Fantastic tension. Engaging story. The alien can and will see you without even looking at you. The alien noticing you at all is pretty much a game over, even with the weapon you use to fend it off, on hard it takes more shots by default, the alien naturally gets more resistant the more you use it, and seems to come back almost immediately so I hope you found a decent place to hide. The alien also learns where you like to hide, which I actually like... until you're forced into a dead end hallway to progress the mission with only a gurney to hide under. The androids seem to have extendable arms so I hope you love spamming your keyboard to make them let go and them tanking five point blank revolver rounds to the head when there's 2-3 chasing you isn't fun, it's annoying. I went into mission 11-12 with 30+ rounds and ended with less than 12, keep in mind I found ammo in the missions and also used the shotgun as well as other resources too. Oh and the revolver reticle lies when at mid-longish distance. I've missed too many shots on stationary androids that I did the gamer lean to ensure I hit. All of this could be countered by "git gud". I agree. What can also be unanimously agreed upon, though, is how absurdly annoying it is to die to something that was completely unpredictable and out of your control, and now you have to do 20 minutes of sneaking around again flipping levers and finding keycards. Now take that, and expand it to two separate missions (so far) taking me nearly 2 hours to do. Overall, great game I'll likely never play once I beat it, or at the very least, never again on hard lol.
Scary and fun as can be. This feels like RE except you are way more defenseless and I love it.
