Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 16/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Nearly 12 years later and this game is still breathtaking in every aspect. The graphics, atmosphere, music and sounds are just so impressively created. The Xeno-AI is one of the smartest enemies I have ever encountered. It learns your behavior and adapts. Gosh, the first time I saw that drool dripping out of a ceiling vent, I literally panicked. This game just has a tight grip on you and before you realize it, you are 20h deep in and finished it. However, we are all like Eugene Harold Krabs... Let's say in union: "40€ is still a lot, let's wait for a good sale." Defo get it though!!!
EDIT: Based on my review, I should probably go work for IGN ;)... This review is coming from someone that enjoys horror games, with Outlast being one of my favorite games of all time: (I played the standard campaign on hard difficulty and it took about 14-15 hours of actual playtime to beat the game) What a massive disappointment and let down... After years of not playing this game, I really thought the hype was worth it considering how many good reviews this gets. I am not a fan of the Alien movies but love horror games and saw clips of this that made me want to play years ago. The game started off good and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and feeling of the game. It seemed intriguing and I was looking forward to how things would play out. However, once you get exposed to the enemies (Alien, Working Joes, random civilians) it becomes an absolute slog and I only finished the game out of spite. The "slog" accounts for about 75% of my playtime as the game looses its appeal fast once the exposure to the Alien ramps up. In my case I got tired because the Alien's intentionally ridiculous AI distracts from the narrative, which takes a story that is mid at best to complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I fully understand that the whole point of the game is for the AI to be completely unfair, but the Alien stops surprising you after the first few times it gets you and just becomes an annoyance. There were points where the alien straight up noclipped through walls to get me (1 was a full noclip/teleport into the room I was in while it was in a hallway on the other side of me, and another time it cut through the corner of a vent to get me. That one I don't really count as I would have died 1 second later anyway). I also saw a Working Joe teleport instantly in front of my character from the end of the hallway to just near an entrance of a room I was in, and then it TP'ed to the other door next to it before entering which was super weird. Additionally, the amount of filler missions and repetitive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you go through in this game is crazy. It should have gotten cut down by 4-6 hours (depending on how long it takes you to finish). It's a walking simulator with a few weak jump scares with an overly powerful enemy where honestly sometimes, passing by is pure luck. If the enemy mechanics were better this game would be slightly above mid, maybe 6.5/10 but honestly I give it a 4/10 and am definitely not getting Alien Isolation 2. I will give the game some props though because it's not all bad. It looks fantastic visually especially for its age, never crashed or had major graphical issues (only very minor ones on occasion) and if the enemies were better optimized for enjoyable gameplay, it would have been quite immersive. But as I said, it just loses it's appeal very quickly, and the story is mid as ♥♥♥♥ so I just beat it to check it off the list.
Mechanically sound, satisfying haptic sound design, game looks as great as it plays. Has more than just the alien, and gameplay consists of diverse tactical loops that keeps gameplay feel fresh and interesting.
Finally I managed to finish this masterpiece. It is the best horror game I've ever played.
Я прошел ее дважды, подряд. Игра великолепна. Буквально первый фильм про чужого по атмосфере.
One of the best story-driven horror games I've ever played. I recommend playing it.
