Alien Breed: Impact

Es un juego simple en el que tenes que ir de A a Z pasando por B,C,D, etc, mientras matas a hordas de aliens con una buena variedad de armas mientras la nave no para de caerse a pedazos. El juego es corto, esta bueno para pasar el rato. Pero la historia esta incompleta. Hay que comprar las otras partes. El ambiente esta muy bueno, una nave espacial futurista. Pero el juego no es la gran cosa, solo lo recomiendo para gente que tiene tiempo libre.

Я зашёл в игру, думал классический экшен про космо-терминаторов. А мне дали какого-то лысого дядю в трусах, который бегает по коридорам и орёт "WHERE ARE THEY?!" каждые шесть секунд. Через полчаса я уже сам орал на экран вместе с ним. Графика как будто из 2004-го, но зато каждый раз, когда ты умираешь, игра делает такую паузу... будто она сама в шоке, что ты такой криворукий.7/10, злой, громкий и неожиданно смешной.

Alien Breed: Impact is not just a port of the original titles for the Amiga32, but a graphically lush remake. While it preserves the same plot, levels and game elements of the original, it runs spectacularly on a Steam Deck and was developed by the original Team17 who produced the Amiga version. Top-down shooter, with twin-stick controls for movement and aiming, and a moody atmospheric graphics and sound that installs a genuine sense of horror and dread. It’s definitely great for those with an interest in the Alien franchise (though this may not be canonical, or explicitly labelled a movie tie in, these are the Xenomorphs you know and love, along with some variations). Stuck about a heavily damaged ship, you’re all alone as you fight to make it through to what remains of the surviving crew. The gameplay is very challenging and satisfying, but full disclosure - I had to reload many times after getting slaughtered. I absolutely love it, and on the basis of my gameplay purchased the remaining Alien Breed titles. It runs awesome on Steam Deck hardware, and if you’re playing it on PC then it runs best with a controller. Highly recommend this, and checking out other Team17 titles, They’re legends.

It's fun. It doesn't really excel in anything but if you just want a simple top-view alien shooter then this is pretty serviceable.

Played a lot of it on splitscreen back in the PS3 days. Great sci-fi twin stick shooter!

fun shooter but pretty basic. catch it on sale and it's definitely worth it.

Polished, but shallow and repetitive. Desperately needs a couch co-op mode.
