Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 13.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 19.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

"Its my IP to sit on and do nothing with!" - EA
Insanely beautiful game with one of the most interesting stories, slowly getting through puzzles and finally defeating enemies after several tries were the most satisfying parts of the game.. onto the plot itself: from the very start if you know anything about psychology, you know forcefully repressing traumatic memories is extremely harmful, so seeing that be one of dr. bumby's main treatments for alice's insanity made me curious if this is just the writers showing mental health treatments were not very advanced during this time or if this will be addressed and revealed dr bumby had much darker intentions, it was very fun slowly unveiling what really happened and that
yes, dr bumby really is the villain. genuinely on some mkultra sh!t the last scene of alice confronting him was a punch in the gut with what he had in plan for her if his "treatment" worked,
it also made some of the imagery in the dollhouse chapter very heartbreaking. this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. i think the visuals peaked during chapter 4 queensland, and the writing was pretty good until the very underwhelming end haha i was a bit disappointed with how short infernal train was! still enjoyed it, very pretty. wish QOH got more screen time💞 7.5/10 will absolutely play Alice sometime as well
garbage with or without bugs
Honestly having just come off of enjoying the original game, this was a letdown of a sequel. The Unreal 3 engine-itis makes itself immediately known with a bunch of bugs/soft-locks (enemies not showing their weakspot so can't be killed, have to restart game to clear it) and static environments. The gameplay also has nothing on the original. The combat has one of the worst targeting cameras I've ever experienced, and many enemies are frequently invulnerable during certain points of fighting them, forcing you to "wait" for animation loops etc. to finish them off. The platforming puzzles (if you can call them that) are also incredibly simple and have nothing on the masterful level design on display in American McGee's Alice (all built in the Quake 3 engine, which turned out to be better than Unreal 3 at everything except pure visuals). Here you will be pulling levers and jumping from platforms into air-vent catapults for the entire game. That is literally all the "puzzling" there is, with some incredibly lazy jigsaw & chess puzzles along the way. The high point and only reason to play this is the goth aesthetic, bits of story with excellent voice acting, as well as the visual design of certain chapters, which still look really good for a 15 year old game. However, the overall package is an absolute slog to play through. The game was in development hell for years and Electronic Arts refused to give it the budget needed to finish the final levels, and it shows, because everything feels padded and rushed. It's a damn shame McGee wasn't able to realize his dream of a third game to make it a trilogy. Alice: Madness Returns is a missed opportunity and it basically has ~6 hours of gameplay repeated for 14 hours. When you start to see how endlessly repetitive the design of each chapter is (it's time for another lowering/rising platform "puzzle" or collecting four "hidden" boxes placed in four different directions!), you will be begging for the credits to roll so you can just be done. I know a lot of younger folks enjoy this one, but all I can say is go play the original released in 2000 if you haven't already, it is a more engaging, unique experience in every way.
Gorgeous game design, Iam shocked that EA(When Art in EA had meaning), too bad they dont make good stuff like this anymore, fun game, some bugs and crashes but overall great
This game is really good its too bad there will never be a 3rd game but maybe one day. I have finished this both on Xbox and PC I highly recommend getting it before it gets delisted if you get the PC version there is a guide to get t he game to run better on newer PC hardware. Plus a way to access the first game I do know you can also access the first game on Consoles for free from the get go. this is a solid 10/10 the graphics and voice alone are great its aged very well
