Alan Wake

Honestly, Alan Wake Remastered is such an amazing game, and playing through it again just reminded me why I fell in love with it in the first place. The story is absolute gold—it feels like you're playing through a mind-bending Stephen King novel or a high-budget thriller TV show, and characters like Alan and his hilarious agent Barry are so well-written and memorable that you actually care about what happens to them. The combat still feels incredibly fun and unique; there's nothing quite like the tense rush of shining your flashlight to burn off a shadow shield before finishing them off with a shotgun. For a game that originally came out back in 2010, the graphics look really nice in this version, especially with the upgraded lighting and the super creepy, foggy forest atmosphere. Even the collectibles are actually worth finding—hunting down those manuscript pages is awesome because they give you cool story clues and foreshadow what's about to happen next, instead of just being mindless busywork. If you haven't played this masterpiece yet, do yourself a favor and pick it up. It holds up beautifully!

Há tempos tenho curiosidade em começar a explorar esse universo compartilhado da Remedy, já sabendo que muito provavelmente iria gostar... E como é bom estar certo. Alan Wake é um jogo de ação e aventura, porém uma atmosfera de terror muito competente e uma história bem intrigante até o seu último momento. A única ressalva que tenho sobre o jogo seria o seu loop de gameplay que, depois de um certo tempo, começa a soar um tanto repetitivo e previsível (só com base nos recursos que é deixado no caminho, já dá pra ter uma noção de qual será a próxima ameaça que iremos encontrar). Apesar disso, é um baita jogo e vai valer o seu tempo caso esteja atrás de uma boa história com uma jogabilidade divertida e, em certos momentos, desafiadora. Só fica o alerta que, ao terminar o jogo, dificilmente você não irá atrás das músicas dos Old Gods of Asgard para ouvir - que são excelentes, aliás.

Sono arrivata al 4 episodio.... Ma nonostante abbia giocato la modalita' normale perche' volevo godermi il gioco, dopo innumerevoli morti inutili ho disistallato . Trovo assurdo che per ogni 3x2 ci siano combattimenti insignificanti, posso capire che queste ombre erano il frutto del suo male e che non gli davano spazio alla sua anima, ma combattere senza possibilita'di continuare il gioco senza bestemmiare , mi sembra un po eccessivo. Peccato perche'la trama come la grafica, gli effetti sonori, il doppiaggio, la sceneggiatura, i paesaggi, l'atmosfera, era veramente degno di un gioco veramente eccellente. Peccato

Anyone who says this game is trash is lying to you. It’s beautiful and fun, and—considering its age—it’s still absolutely playable today. Anyone comparing it to Alan Wake 2 will be disappointed.

Really solid game with a great story, and the torch-and-gun gameplay felt fresh and unique. The psychological horror elements were really well done.
