Few hours that i have played this game, it looks insane and it runs in my laptop very well
I hate Alan wake. The character, not the game just to be clear. I came in looking for that remedy magic I’ve heard so much about but all I see is just madness. The titular character has to be one of the most obnoxious and unlikeable characters I have seen in a long while. I try to give everyone a fair chance, but I could not find a single reason to like this guy. He’s an egotistical drunk writer that's horrible to his wife, to his fans and to everyone who tried to help him out. The entire story is just Alan chasing after himself and trying to get out of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that he’s written himself into. I didn’t feel a shred of sympathy for him, and at times I was rooting against him. Knowing what I know now though, that means I was rooting for him the whole time. Touché.
That brings me onto the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a story. What is even going on here? Remedy tried to write something profound but ended up with a jumbled mess. A writers goes on a journey to save his wife, he finds out where she is and then has to get some MacGuffin to kill the dark presence holding her hostage. We then find out that it’s Alan himself writing the story. So why didn’t he write out the antagonist once he had the opportunity? The main antagonist who he “defeats” at the end of the game is still alive. After that, instead of writing a happy ending for himself and his wife, he sacrifices himself to the dark place where his wife was trapped, seting his wife free, only to write himself out of the dark place in one of the DLCs to set up the sequel. Like what's going on here. I’ll be honest, not once did the story actively engage me. I remember at the start I tried to give it my full attention, but once the cutscenes devolved into some helicopter chase ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I was clocked out. I wanted so much more from this amazing premise of being stuck in your own story but I walked away disappointed. I wanted to dive deeper and get more of the story pages to understand the game better, but to do that you have to play on nightmare mode, and I’ll be damned if I ever play this game again.
Why wont I ever play this game again? The gameplay is horrible. Shine a light on the bad guy, shoot and repeat 100x. Movement is horrible, dodging is wack and Alan runs out of stamina every few steps. Hated it. Not the worst thing I’ve ever played but frustratingly disappointing. Would've rather stayed in the dark about this game - 4/10
достаточно унылый сюжет, да и задумка тоже, может быть пару лет назад эта игра и была для многих открытием, но сейчас она смотрится скучновато ( засыпал, играя в это..)
Игра скучная и однотипная

Fantastic storytelling and still a decent looking game for its age. The combat was surprisingly fun, but definitely got repetitive towards the end. If I could experience this game again for the first time I would just play it on easy (unless you're achievement hunting). In my opinion, the difficulty is what makes the combat repetitive as it mainly draws out time-to-kill. Regardless, this is a good game with great soundtracks! Also, bro really needs to work on his cardio...
Really solid game with a great story, and the torch-and-gun gameplay felt fresh and unique. The psychological horror elements were really well done.
Just remember, Omega 3 fatty acids are good for your heart
Потрясающий нуарный сюжет в игре. Remedy в этом плане умеют делать культовые игры Но кстати, наблюдал нуу очень много отсылок на макса пейна
