Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

AGON - The Lost Sword of Toledo, developed by Private Moon Studios and published by M.INDIE, is a traditional point-and-click adventure that embodies the design philosophy of late-2000s narrative puzzle games. As part of the broader AGON series, it follows Professor Samuel Hunt, a scholarly historian affiliated with the British Museum, whose travels once again entangle him in a web of historical intrigue and intellectual mystery. Set against the richly textured backdrop of Toledo, Spain, the game emphasizes atmosphere, layered storytelling, and cerebral puzzle-solving rather than fast-paced gameplay or modernized mechanics. The narrative is rooted in both personal drama and historical investigation. Upon arriving in Toledo, Hunt becomes involved in a case concerning a missing sword and accusations of theft that threaten reputations and relationships. The mystery gradually expands beyond its initial premise, intertwining family honor, hidden motives, and historical artifacts. Dialogue plays a central role in unfolding the story, often presenting extended exchanges that flesh out characters and contextualize the unfolding events. Rather than relying on cinematic spectacle, the game builds tension through conversation, deduction, and gradual revelation of clues. Gameplay adheres closely to classic point-and-click conventions. Players explore environments through static panoramic viewpoints, interacting with objects and characters to gather information and inventory items. Progression is puzzle-driven, with challenges ranging from logical riddles and pattern recognition tasks to more elaborate mechanical mini-games. Some puzzles are elegantly constructed, requiring careful observation and interpretation of historical hints, while others lean toward traditional adventure game tropes involving inventory combinations and sequential experimentation. The game rarely holds the player’s hand, encouraging thoughtful exploration and patience. One of the title’s defining characteristics is its deliberate pacing. Exploration often involves revisiting locations, re-examining dialogue, and piecing together fragmented clues. While this design reinforces immersion in the investigative process, it can also slow momentum, particularly during sections with lengthy conversations or when puzzle solutions are not immediately intuitive. For fans of classic adventure games, this methodical rhythm feels familiar and rewarding. For players accustomed to more streamlined modern titles, it may feel dated or cumbersome. Visually, the game captures Toledo’s historical charm through detailed environmental artwork. Architecture, interiors, and cityscapes evoke a sense of authenticity, reinforcing the cultural and historical weight of the narrative. Character models and animations reflect the technological limitations of its era, occasionally appearing stiff or simplistic. However, the art direction prioritizes atmosphere over realism, and ambient sound design complements the setting with subtle environmental cues and music that enhances immersion without overpowering the dialogue. The strength of the experience lies in its intellectual engagement. Rather than offering reflex-based challenges, it invites players to immerse themselves in research, observation, and deduction. The storyline unfolds gradually, rewarding those who pay close attention to details scattered across conversations and locations. While replay value is limited once puzzles are solved and the mystery unraveled, the initial journey offers a cohesive and thoughtfully constructed adventure. Ultimately, the game stands as a representative example of traditional narrative adventure design. It does not attempt to modernize its formula with dynamic action or branching gameplay systems. Instead, it remains committed to dialogue-driven storytelling and puzzle-centric progression. For players who appreciate historical mysteries, deliberate pacing, and methodical problem-solving, it provides a richly atmospheric experience. Those seeking fast gameplay or contemporary production values may find its mechanics dated, but within its classic framework, it delivers a focused and immersive investigative adventure set against the storied backdrop of Toledo.
brilliant investigation game
