For those of us who have long dreamed of a wild west adventure with sky ships, it's finally here! I went into this one with high expectations and I was not disappointed. Make sure you're keeping a weather eye on @iqSoup because Age of Grit's just about to come out of Early Access. A damn fine RPG that really nails the wild west steampunk setting. It's full of interesting locations and characters, is exceptionally well written, and there's even trade and turn-based ship combat. This was a pleasant surprise...well-built world, a story with both humour and dramatic revelations and an uncomplicated but tense battle system. Sure it has a few flaws, but so do many games at twice or three times the price. Will be looking out for the devs' next game.
I LOVED this game. Now don't get me wrong, it isn't for everyone. It's nothing ground-breaking, fairly basic mechanics. More-or-less a fairly flexible point-and-click adventure with modified card-battler combat. No fancy animation or twitch battles here. Fairly linear plot with a pretty good story. However, if you want to play a steampunk flying-ship pilot, do missions, trade and survive, this might be the game for you, too! -Kle.
Pros: -Good art design -Good music -The characters are appealing -The basic gameplay loop of ship battles are reasonably entertaining, if simple Cons: -Overworld travel is too slow, making backtracking a pain -The game has some form of memory leak that causes the inventory screen to slow to a crawl every half hour or so Overall: I completed the game in about 13 hours, and that's with some padding. If you are willing to take the risk with the glitches, its worth trying *if* the idea of a steampunk western airship game sounds appealing.
so i got given this game by the developer and i must say thanks for letting me review this game. i must say that i truly do like this game, it has a lot of potential. i totally recommend in playing this game, it has a good story to it. with some humour involved in this as well. this game is a lot of reading and clicking involved to get through the story, but i totally recommend it, if you are into country and strategic game play.
I can not believe this game took 10 years to make, if you like to read for 80% of the game and click for the other 20% this is a game for you!. I don't recommend even at $10. I only made it 30 minutes and was completely bored with this game.

The spirit of the wild west is felt in everything. Add to this steampunk and your own airship. Oh and yes, let's add some unique, turn-based combat to that. As a result, we have a great adventure. Highly recommend. Loved this game! So creative and compelling. Great dialogue and totally engaging. I highly recommend the game!
Original setting, good storytelling, great balance between serious and lighthearted. I don't know what the bad reviews are about, the pacing is great for a CRPG, reminds me of travelling the map in isometric games like Fallout or Arcanum.
Age of Grit is an immersive steam punk simulator. It includes unique storyline in Wild West setting. I enjoyed missions, mini quests, battles and cities. Thank you to developers and looking forward to more games from the vendor!
