Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.43/day in the week to Aug 23 → 14.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You are the Viceroy – a leader charged by the Scorched Queen to reclaim the wilderness and discover lost riches for the Smoldering City, civilization's last bastion against the Blightstorm that destroyed the old world. Unlike most survival city builders where your focus is on a single city, in Against the Storm you must build a vast, prosperous network of settlements populated by diverse fantasy races, each with their own specializations and needs.
The wilderness holds many hidden dangers, and never-ending storms will batter your population into submission. If your settlements should fall, then the expedition may end – but not the game. Against the Storm is a roguelite city builder, meaning you will carry forward the resources, upgrades, and experience of your past expeditions each time you set off for a new journey into the wild.

Foxes, beavers, and lizards stand alongside humans and harpies in the struggle to survive. Utilize each group's strengths as you balance their varying needs, from housing and culinary preferences to taste in luxuries and recreation. Will you manufacture raincoats, brew ale, and bake pies to boost morale in the face of the oppressive hostility of the forest, or will you prioritize the needs of one species over another to operate more swiftly for the Scorched Queen?

Experience core city builder gameplay enhanced by roguelite replayability. Build and manage multiple settlements spread out across a large world map, all while collecting valuable meta-progression resources to upgrade the Smoldering City. Feel the pressure of an expectant monarch as the Scorched Queen demands constant progress while recurring Blightstorms pose an inevitable threat to your settlements. Manage your reputation to secure your success at any one settlement before moving on to establish another, constantly seeking new opportunities for growth, taking on unique challenges across multiple biomes, and bracing for the inevitable destruction of everything but the Smoldering City itself. How will you maximize each cycle to not just ensure the best fate for the Smoldering City, but for your career as Viceroy as well?

With hundreds of gameplay modifiers and 6 distinct biomes, every city location presents unique challenges for even the most resourceful Viceroy. Adjust your strategy to changing weather conditions and experiment with rosters of building blueprints and perks that can help your society thrive or bring it to ruin. Will you take on and complete additional objectives and delve deeper into the dangerous forest for potential boons, or will you approach with caution to ensure you operate within your capabilities? All the while, you never know what wares the Trader will bring next year, and the forest holds treasures and resources, but also ancient threats.

Laying the foundations for a new city is one of the most exciting moments in a city-building game. In Against the Storm, you'll have the opportunity to repeatedly experience this by creating new settlements, while still interacting with your network of previously established cities in a growing world.

This is really mixed feeling, the thing is, game is really good for first 25-50 hours, but then you realize what level of grind many unlockables are. How you have to heavily optimize your gamestyle into this tight meta-sweat to fight against time instead of Queen's Impatiance to get past Gold Seals and beyond, how you have to increase prestige difficulty five times to get one more shard and keep trying to beat every settlement under 5 years to match the requirements. It simply stops being fun. It's wierd to consider that the game respects your time with these quick games, but heavily disrespects your time in sense of whole game progression.

I usually like these kinds of games and though I don't exactly hate this game, it didn't scratch any itches. The sound track is great, relaxing, and the sound of rain is a nice touch, that's about it for me. It felt like RNG had more of a say in if i was going to win or not. In the 3 games i played i felt like i was racing the clock to meet my objectives and then boom, it just ended. 2 of the times I didn't even notice i was close to winning my session, it just ended... Yipee? The game really boils down to a race against time and hoping you can get the right requirements (resources) at the right time to fulfill contracts. There are a lot of different resources and structures that allow you to gather said resources, as well as structures to further craft the resources into more complex resources. The maps are randomly generated so which resources will be available to gather is inconsistent. This offers replay value, making every session feel a little different (this is a good thing). Overall i think think this works, but the UI isn't the best and it didn't really help me with the upkeep managing process. I would often over consume a resource, have idling workers waiting on resources to produce other resources, or build a structure for a resource node, only to have 2-3 of those nodes through my entire session. There are a decent amount of structures in this game but not all are available to you each play through. You will reach certain milestones that allow you to pick from 2-3 random blueprints of structures, so there is rng that you have navigate in hopes of winning. The queen will give you a choice of 2 random "Orders" to complete in order to get more blueprints. These contracts are random and will ask for things like "get X amount of resources", "Have 8 of a certain race type", "search X amount of nodes in the forest". You must complete these contracts in order to get enough points to win your current session. These contracts will somewhat dictate what buildings you need to gather resources to progress and fulfill them, but since the offered blueprints are random you will have to hope you get the right building in order to gather the right resource. On top of this you'll have to hope you find the right resource node and enough of it. Otherwise you'll be looking for other ways to obtain the needed resource, hoping those ways are available as well. There is no combat and that's okay, but the mechanics of what i was doing felt repetitive. The flow was: Find resource, build structure to gather resource (if available), use resource to make other resource or structure to craft more resources. There were rarely moments where i was deciding on gathering one resource vs another. For the most part i wanted any and every resource that popped up. I'm sure at higher difficulties you have to be more decisive, but it wasn't like there was an abundance of resource nodes for me to decide between anyway. I also didn't feel that tackling a harder difficulty would be rewarding since it relies heavily on rng. Good: Music was solid and relaxing. A decent amount of variables. A cool progression system. Bad: The UI isn't great. Resource management wasn't fun for me. Too much rng for the variables and requirements and sometimes lacking in ways to get said requirments.
This is rogue-like adjacent in combination with a city builder. This is my favourite pickup in a while 🌷 I cannot stop micromanaging my little settlements from the big scary storm and the big scary Queen. I love the medieval x fantasy blend and I find the experience to be really relaxing; punishing, but relaxing. I have no idea what happened to my time. Devs are really passionate and it shows. My lizards need to stop eating all my meat istg please stop resorting to cannibalism.
Dziękuję za dodanie Ukraińskiej lokalizacji. To bardzo miłe! :) Naprawdę przyjemnie gra się po Ukraińsku.
Probably my favourite roguelite of all time. Combining the best party of City building, the Beginning and Build up phase, with an every increasing challange to keep your city alive. Very addicting gameplay loop. A must buy for any roguelite, city builder or strategy fan!
THIS GAME BLOWS MY MIND. It sat languishing in my "to play" que for far too long... I was craving city builders, but picked up "Timberborn" (an okay city builder but not as good as this one!) first, and after struggling with the unforgiving and fiddly mechanics of that game AGAINST THE STORM was like coming home to steak and all the ale I could drink. This game takes the WORST elements of city builders and REMOVES THEM COMPLETELY. Bad/Blocked Pathing, ridiculous need for "coverage" or supply lines for amenities or maintenance, everything that makes city builders UN-fun... GONE. Now let me talk about what it does right. FRIGGIN' EVERYTHING. Diverse races with varying needs. Voluminous amounts of resources and processed goods, though the interface and mechanics are elegant and refined to the point where many complex tasks can be intuitive quickly to the beginner. Randomization of SO MANY factors creating different town/caravan interactions every time you play. Bad conditions, good conditions, different biomes (MANY), different combinations of resources for different environments. FUN trading and Import/Export Mechanics. Quests (called orders) that motivate you to try different things and that at higher difficulty levels have multiple tiers to make them more challenging. The game is constantly rewarding you for playing well and seeing the big picture. Game has variable difficulty and options to kit out each scenario so you can tailor somewhat (not always or perfectly) to your play style, but shakes things up enough to keep you guessing. Cycle of good seasons and the especially scary storm season is fun and keeps you on your toes. Raw materials. Finished goods. Luxury Goods. Materials crates, treasure, perks, blueprints (did I mention this game has so many buildings it makes many other city builders look lame?) Different needs for different populations. Dangers, loot, and opportunities all over the map. I played this game for two days straight once. literally couldn't put it down for approximately 30+ hours, maybe more. And I keep feeling like I'm just scratching the surface. There is an overmap mechanic where you build a chain of settlements, choose special conditions or events for some caravans, a kick-ass overarching quest that connects all your city building and makes the game-loop feel valuable and meaningful. Out of game resources you use to buy upgrades for future caravan/settlements that make every win a race to the upgrade city to "level up" your Viceroy. Everything old about city builders refined to a monomolecular sharpness, then adding so many features that are all it's own that just HIT HIT HIT for this genre of game. I've had awesome victories, every game has been a thoughtful one in the middle, and I've had a few crushing defeats from mistakes, forgetting cause and effect between conditions that can have a domino effect, or just biting off more than I could chew with the difficulty level you're dared to attempt. (I usually play on Veteran but up the difficulty to Viceroy to amplify the stakes when they are especially high, but don't have the courage for the "Prestige" difficulty I've unlocked and I know there are levels beyond that. My only negative to say about this game is that it has a "Home" mechanic where you're supposed to store trophies and talk to an advisor... this aspect is purely cosmetic so won't compromise the game in any way -- but it seems extraneous and if it was done better it would be even more fun to come back to the city between missions. A small gripe that one tiny aspect is middling ONLY BECAUSE THE REST OF THE GAME SHINES LIKE THE FRIGGIN' SUN. Amazing game. One if not the best city building games I've played out of dozens I've played in the genre. RECOMENDED -- ESPECIALLY IF YOU GET THE DLC... it makes a banquet into a FEAST to have all the extra variations, and I'd go as far as to say buy the game with any/all DLC up front. You'll thank me. This takes "one more turn" and straight jumps into "one more game!" EXQUISITE.
打开游戏看教程看得两眼无神,感谢限时免费期让我认清自己的喜好,这种需要动脑规划的城市建设类游戏暂时不适合我,顺便为什么一个建筑类游戏也会导致头晕啊啊啊啊啊啊
