Awesome game, I just reached level 21 and the level of difficulty is very challenging at this point! You really need to stay concentrated and the minimum play area size is a must if u dont wanna hit your controllers to much XD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8cJ-EYrZwk
Valve Index заявлен как рекомендуемый шлем... При заходе в игру нунчаки не работают и не одна кнопка не пашет, двигаться тоже не дает... Мусор неиграбельный.
BETA TESTER I tested Across in it's later stages before the release. It's a very solidly put together game and it's a little different to the usual. Hard to describe a genre it fits into. Maybe Puzzler/Shooter/Jedi Action fits. For it's price I would definitely pick it up. I haven't completed it yet as it starts to get quite tough half-way through but I intend to perservere. Definitely one of the better, low cost VR games on the store. I should know I seem to have most of them in my library. Give it a try.
What the description does not tell you is that you need terrific reflexes and situational awareness to do all the blocking, dodging, and rapid movement you'll be doing. That wouldn't be so bad, except you also die in one hit.
Fun puzzle game, that is probably too highly priced. You have to cross a room, there are obstacles so you have to think your moves. You have a katana to help you with the things in your way. Performance is great, graphics are allright for what the game is trying to do. The game is cleverly done, puzzles get challenging soon enough and require you to move siftly. I got this game on a sale or in a bundle i cant remember, i recommend it if you get it like that, because i dont think its worth it full price, but on a steep sale or as part of a bundle i think it would be a puzzler to take a look at.
Very nice little game. Little details--the way I can see and feel the light sword melt the ground, the way the fluffy physics of the bear make me want to protect it even more--stand out. That said, as of now, it does crash on me occassionally. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers. Updated Full Review August 5, 2018
Note for Oculus users on Windows 10: you need to do a Windows 7 compatibility fix and start game straight from Steam VR (not library) This is a physical puzzle game that requires thinking and quick, but controlled reflexes. Because of those requirements, I am stuck on the 10th level. I even cheated and looked up a YouTube video to see how it's done and I couldn't master those movements. I'm not sure if the light saber is aligned correctly though as you do need to twist your wrists significantly to get the right angle on reflected enemy projectiles. Even though you have a teddy bear in your right hand, this is not a kids game. It requires someone with some dexterity to get past some of these challenges. The action (at least on Oculus) occurs from left to right. You will be walking at least a few steps (depending on your height / stride) from the start to finish line with your teddy bear. You will avoiding enemy projectiles and / or repelling those attacks with your light saber whilst protecting the teddy bear and your head. The teddy bear is the target for the enemy. So you can use that to your advantage. You will also need good peripheral vision to see all the directions that enemies are shooting at the teddy bear and yes, sometimes it comes from all sides. There's some added difficulties including unblockable lasers and whole areas you need to avoid. These are all one hit kills. I had fun, but it can also be very challenging and frustrating. If you want a challenge then this is a good game to get. If you don't like frustration this probably isn't for you. Rate 6.5/10. My original initial impressions review is below. -------- Review in progress. Just confirming this does indeeed work on the Oculus Rift with Touch controllers. However, if you are using Windows 10 then you'll need to a do a Windows 7 compatibility fix or configure your sensors so that your head is higher than the ground (fool your sensors). Game works fine once the ground issue is fixed. I finished the tutorial and the first level with standing room only. But I do recommend full roomscale. Rate TBD. Stay tuned.
+Interesting Gameplay +Dodge and hit things +Only Uses Play Area -Price = Content -Kind of boring -Clunky Controls 2/5 Interesting Idea that is definitely a fun experience, just not worth the price for how much of an experience it is. This is a hard pass. The puzzle elements are actually quite interesting. But a clunky interface and design choices fail to make something worth while playing. Also, why a bear? If this was an inside joke, let us in on it. It just seems random and ill fitting in the Sci-Fi game world you've got going on here. Still, I hope the developer continues as there is potential here.
Took me 67 minutes to clear all 25 levels. The game is geared more towards puzzles than action or fast reactions. It's a shame it's not tagged as such. Overall, I found the controls clunky, but people who enjoy puzzles might very well enjoy this. And it's not too expensive.
