AaAaAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity

Time Played:
26.7 Hours
Last Played:
2nd of February, 2020

Full disclosure, I got and All-Achievemented the “For the Awesome” re-release/expansion before coming back to this one, and on doing so, I realised just how much better this one flowed to say nothing of the “Rapid Love, Rapid Hate, Rapid Go Go Go!” level not being a seemingly-luck-based nightmare to do.
Yay:
+ Very engaging, unique gameplay not found elsewhere + Unique Art Style, at least for the time it came out in. + Menu is charming... + …as is the presentation. + Nostalgic + Significantly less frustrating to platinum than the “For the Awesome” Expanded re-release + I remember enjoying the humour present within.
Meh:
~ Nothing I'm remembering
Nay:
- Also nothing that I can recall.

Verdict:
This is a very good case for why remasters are not always better than their source material, as not only was I able to enjoy this unique gem much more than the second version, I rediscovered why it was loved to begin with.
Placed in:
1: Fantastically-Favoured
AaAaAA!!! 10/10
if you like kinda abstract game without going very far in the gameplay, etc this game is for you.
In a world where the simple act of opening a web browser is enough to incite depression, a game that jams itself to the top of your list by screaming, right in the title, is actually incredibly cathartic! What follows next is an entertaining game involving epic BASE jumping to awesome music where the challenge is entirely based on how risky or dramatic the player feels today. Whether you play for 10 minutes or 10 hours, you will come out realizing that, no matter how difficult your day/life/world may be, at least you didn't break all two of your legs.
A game where jumping off a building is a sport.
Motion sickness simulator with an unappealing visual style. Made me too nauseous after 5 minutes to ever consider it again.
Поиграл в игру час а такое чувство что играл вечность - руки дрожат, сердце колотится грудь колит глаза вытекают )))
