Shoot The Zombirds VR

‘Shoot The Zombirds VR’ is a Halloween themed funfair shooter in which you need to take down as many zombie birds with a crossbow as you can. You start with 15 arrows and each one target you hit you get awarded points and every miss is minus one arrow. What you get here is a small amount of Halloween fun for a small price and that is OK, The play area looks good with a stage-like setting and some deep 3D making it look like a cardboard cutout game which is nice and you get a high score to challenge friends and family. Sadly you can’t dual-wield the crossbow nor are there any other weapons or play areas to unlock, but you easily get your money’s worth and that is good enough for me.

It's ok. Short. The powerup thing is annoying. You have to get 50 non misses for it to trigger. Seems excessive. Makes cheev hard. Game not worth $4.99 mew mew, game worth $2 dollar max. 6/10 needs more things to do.

[h1]Experienced on the Meta Quest 2[/h1] If there was a sideways recommendation, that's what I would give this game. However, I can't thumbs up this game, not at this price. It normally sells for $5 USD, and I bought it on sale for $3.49 USD. Honestly though, this is at best a $2 USD game. It's just a stand-still (seat-still?) 180 gallery shooter. The twist is that every miss counts against you. If you miss too many times, then it's game over. So you really have to focus on accuracy. However, if you let a zombie bird go by, then it picks up one of the pumpkins, then you'll have to shoot it on its way back or else if you lose all your pumpkins it's also game over. Zombie birds are of different speeds & sizes & some take more shots to take down. Obviously, once you get the tiny ones that goes by fast, it will test your sharp-shooting skills. There's also some targets that show up that act as power-ups assuming you shoot it, then the crate that pops up, then shoot the marker to your left. Power-ups can increase the speed to increase the score & difficulty, or slow things down, or give you fury mode where you can shoot & kill fast. I didn't have fun ... at all. This game may have been fine in 2016 VR. It looks, feels, & plays like a mobile VR game for the Samsung Gear VR ecosystem. It does look okay for a mobile game. I didn't run into any issues. There's local leaderboards as well. [b]Rate 4/10. If you see most of the positive reviews, they couldn't play this longer than 30 minutes. I have been playing Shoot The Zombirds for years! starting with my Itouch and continuing with subsequent phones. I was so excited when I heard they were releasing a version for VR! I have been checking in constantly waiting for updates as the release date had been moved back a few times. Well, It's finally here! I'm probably biased because of the nostalgia but I love the game! It is a lot of fun and well worth the price! Also, the Halloween release was really good timing.

This game is awesome, the graphics and play mechanics are clean. Fun, Simple and challenging. Good work devs!

Such a great game to play and addicting, feels like I'm at a carnival. $4.99 not bad at all. Too much fun and different difficulties that increase speed and less arrows. Definitely recommend for sure if you have a VR.

Es como una atracción de la feria o un arcade de las recreativas de los 90. Es solo un escenario, hasta que te quedas sin flechas. Pero es divertido, tiene buenos gráficos, diferentes tipo de enemigos, poderes, secretos y combos. Para jugar 10 minutos de vez en cuando e intentar batir tu récord, o para ponérselos a las visitas, a este precio está muy bien. Recomendado!
