I liked it and I need to post a review because it is better than 68% positive.
this game rules. it's very small and self-contained though, when I would have wanted more. but it's just a cute little simple game with adorable characters
good twin stick gauntlet type game with an adorable lizard guy

Being one shot every run by a random explosion and literally never dying to anything else ruins the game for me.
I first played this game back in 2014, it used be very difficult (and unfair) back then. The game since has changed drastically the other way - now it is probably too easy. I started playing this game again to get every achievement and I had a great time. The game feels outdated by todays roguelike/lite standards, it has a tiny itempool and the levels + enemies you will encounter don't change too much in each area. The UI is clunky and outdated, you cannot rebind to extra mouse buttons, it doesn't even have normal resolution settings. The progression is also busted, eventually you can just start with a really strong loadout and never have to change anything all the way to the final boss. Yet for some reason this game is dear to my heart, i like the secrets and alternative routes. Some of the achievements provide a fun challenge. I also like the death mechanic in this game, after you die you enter the sprit world which has more enemies and you have a reduced amount of HP but you also get more rewards. It might be a little bit of nostalgia but i'd say out of all the roguelikes i own this is in the top half.
I´d rather buy WinRAR
Another Isaac clone. The items and item interactions are really lacklustre here. Just play Isaac instead.
Adorable and not as punishing as The Binding of Isaac (depending on drops, you might even win on your first run). Equipment is simple enough that you have some decent control over the kind of character you're building as you go but still have RNG decide a few quirks. It can be a bit repetitive as the number of room types to choose from is pretty small, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. This is not a deep game where you get into "the zone" and suddenly it's 3am. Rather, it's the kind of game you can easily pick up whenever you have a bit of time to kill and then put down again. $10 might seem a bit steep for this sort of thing, but I feel like I've gotten my money's worth.
