Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

super dank RTS total war. lacking huge amount of factions and seems to be only the one map but still very high replay value
You get a very basic game. Although I love the Total War series, that is just an OVERPRICED DEMO

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really big let down from CA. This game is so disappointing. Even after so many years from release, it still feels like its in Beta. If I was involved - I would demand this would not go out in its current state. The pocket ladders, the city of troy itself with its internal walls you cant even place units on, the clunky and cluttered battle UI is ugly, the combat feels cartoonish. No real replay value in this title at all. The only redeeming qualities are the art styles i.e the Greek pottery inspired art, but the unit cards, and the design of the units themselves, Hector in particular, is really disappointing.
First campaign might be a little interesting but then the game becomes a little bit repetitive and boring. No much difference on the army roaster but still a good game.
Out of all the Total War games its the one I keep going back to. Good different factions and game modes, and mythical creatures which create different play styles.
I originally bounced off from Troy when I tried it when it was free on Epic, but after enjoying Total War: Pharaoh (Dynasties) immensely, and not finding Warhammer campaigns all that fun despite the spectacle, I decided now to go back to Troy with all the DLC because of the Mythology mode. I played and won a Rhesus campaign in Mythology mode, achieving The Total War Victory, and I had a ton of fun. Maybe I am easily impressed, but I didn't find the lack of cavalry a problem especially with the mythological units added to the mix. The campaign mode is very good and immersive, and all the mythological elements are really up my alley. I enjoyed the religion mechanics quite a bit, and the god powers gave spice to the battles without feeling overpowered or taking too much away from the actual battle. From what I have seen, all the factions have 1-2 unique mechanics and a variety of unique units, so the replay value seems rather high to me. I am already thinking of playing Achilles or one of the Amazons next. TL;DR if you like Pharaoh (Dynasties) and want a more in-depth Greece, with mythological units, get this on a sale with at least the Mythos DLC.
Played when troy first came out on epic not great.... gave them some time to improve... got it again on steam/discounted.... still dont like it ... gave it a chance.. and lost :( ... i would only buy if on hardcore sale.. or if u have money to spend
Great addition to the total war series....another example why creative assembly is one of the best game makers
İlyada'yı okuyup oynayınca inanılmaz keyifli. Ahaylılar tarafında falan tüm karakterler tanıdık oluyor.
Best game for history and mythology lovers out there! Total war games never failed to make RTS games, my all time favorite! Go and check this game out!
