About
The Echoes of Me:
A unnerving psychological horror where your house becomes a maze of time & memory.
Once a brilliant scientist obsessed with simulative technologies, your latest work has fractured something fundamental. Now, trapped in your own home, you sense something is deeply wrong. Rooms shift. Clocks lie. And something in the house knows you’re awake.
The Echoes of Me pulls you into a psychological nightmare where every shadow could be you - or what’s left of you. As memories return in fragments and reality glitches, you must uncover the truth behind the experiment before what lurks within finds you again.
The Echoes of Me is a first‑person horror experience focused on tense exploration and completing objective‑based sequences under pressure. You’ll move through dark environments, search for key items, and trigger events that push the story forward. Typical gameplay centres on roaming, solving environmental puzzles, and avoiding enemies that react to your presence. Expect scripted scares, dynamic jump scares, a quick‑time event, and a chase sequence.

For a first development project this is very impressive! There could be some more fluidity in the story but overall the game is enjoyable and I can't wait for chapter 2 <3
Honestly pretty solid game for the price point. For only 2.99 the game gives you way more than expected(at least in my eyes). Yes, the game has some bugs but none that are game breaking or that take anything away from the overall feel itself(and can be easily fixed). Some parts of it give me fnaf vibes but maybe that’s just me. Overall would highly recommend 👍
cool concept, a twist on anomalies in a world-building story way which is different and unique. worth the money as it is dirt cheap, and it's being consistently updated! it was scary but also a puzzle game at the same time too
can't wait for the second chapter to come out! i'm curious to see how the story will pan out, but i do wish it did go a little more in depth, i love the idea of simulation, so it would be nice to see the intricacy with that and it being fleshed out more. It could definately be more then a couple chapters or a few hour long story, although it is a one person development, so im impressed as is! the gameplay was quite enjoyable, even though it took me a while to get a grasp of certain mechanics, RNG can be a bit unlucky, so don't lose face, it's not complex either, so it's not as if there's a steep learning curve holding people back. i think puzzles would suit this game quite neatly, though the genre does tend to running away from some sort of enemy, like Miside for example. (the light switch can be switched during the hallway part to be closer or further!! and the keypad needs to click # to enter!) the only certain critique is the double door not really doing anything for the story, which i only realised after writing this review, but it just added extra paranoia which adds to the aesthetic. overall I liked it! and for it only being 2£, i was happy to support! good luck in the future with your projects and i hope to see more.

Well made game, I thoroughly enjoyed. I was scared on quite a few occasions which is what I want from a horror game. The graphics were really good and the game felt really immersive. The only thought I had was to have a different animation when the entity is in the hall in the basement when you are downloading logs as that took away from the immersion a little. The game also wasn't too hard, I am not an avid horror game player but it was really intuitive when it needed to be and was easy to understand what to do. I also liked the sounds in the game as well as the music - really well used and definitely made the experience much better. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys horror games.
