Even on sale I still feel ripped off, quite literally an incomplete product sold like it's a full game, there are even references to skills and weapon types in the game that don't actually exist. What's more is that after a couple of hours the gameplay loop gets real repetitive. It's fun overall, but I just feel scammed.
You could be stronger than Hercules but gods help you if that stance goes under half. You might as well curl up into a ball and die if it goes under 1/4. A 10 year old girl could kill you at that point. Probably my biggest gripe with the game other than the save deletion. And I'd be okay with the save deletion if it meant you didn't have to restart at the same point every single time. Still recommend this game but only barely. Once you get armor and better swords you feel like a god... Until you get knocked down and die from a 10 year old girl with a large boulder.
Nice game, the meta progression push you to be greedy instead of being a rat a the rear of the century waiting for the end of a campaign. Some times too much RNG tho
Peak.
NEW HOLES IN MY WALL
A very much historical rouge like life of a legionary. 10/10 brutal fun

There are much better things you can spend 8 dollars on.
Game artificially increases enemy stats to add a veneer of 'difficulty' so when you get lucky training a character that same libyan mercenary you faced 8 times in a row with differing average stats now has 80 quickness-made for souls players who enjoy memorizing a specific pattern to cheese a fight rather than anybody who desires change and variety
After three runs i had enough, but I enjoyed the variability in the playthroughs, which depending on the legionary’s character customization at the beginning had a truly noticeable impact.
