For $5 and just over a hour of gameplay, I actually enjoyed this! I loved the aspect of going to a physical archive and the corkboard with the red twine. The ending was a little underwhelming for me. I understand the ending could be up for interpretation, but it just feels like I didn't have ALL of the story.

A fun conspiracy thriller that made me pee my pants. The experience of research in this game is really unique and satisfying. An easy recommend.
Played this ages ago but forgot to review. This is a solid but unfortunately really short detective game a la Roottree, Obra Dinn. The coolest thing is that you are investigating a real conspiracy.
Great deal for the price
A short but beautiful deduction game. I read that it's based on real political events, and that added a layer of beauty. The disturbing, solitary quest to uncover the truth is perfect for this steam festival, and the already reasonable price makes it even more affordable! Highly recommended!
I started off really liking the game function of having to browse through files to put together a mystery. Where this falls short is: * The games doesn't make you try to figure out the mystery of what happened. I didn't know the IRL story and I honestly still have no idea. I was hoping at some point to have to put all the clues together to solve it. * The abrupt end. This makes the game feel incomplete. I come back to a car crashed through the window with no idea as to why and the moment I leave the room, the game started to fade to black and it was just over. This could have been more. I was really hoping for a good mystery to have to piece through and solve, but this just honestly turned out to be a very weak version of what it seems this game wanted to be.
For those of you that wish to save your money:
This is just the Nugen Hand Bank wikipedia page
This "game" is a textbook example of what not to publish: poor, repetitive game design that provides no clear hook, compelling game mechanic, or satisfying conclusion. You go and search for documents in a cellar and bring them back up to paste papers on a corkboard. All to tell a story that you could read in 5 minutes on Wikipedia. It would be more accurate to call this a "library sciences searching simulator" than a "non-linear investigative thriller" If you value your time, money, or sanity, skip this.
