A Hand With Many Fingers

Jeu d'enquête basé sur une véritable conspiration, AHWMF vous demande de fouiller une archive remplie de documents de la CIA, dans une ambiance qui fleure bon les thrillers paranos des 70's (malgré une économie de moyens dans ses effets de tension). C'est visuellement un peu aride, mais une fois plongé dans l'enquête, j'ai passé une heure et demie passionnante, quasiment en apnée une fois que l'on approche du dénouement. Si vous avez aimé Obra Dinn ou The Roottrees are Dead, AHWMF mérite largement le détour, notamment pour son ancrage dans le réel qui rend cette expérience d'autant plus glaçante et fascinante.

Cool, a bit anticlimactic

This game has the player piece together documents around the real life Nugan Hand Bank scandal of 1980. Moving around the game was clunky/frustrating. Not being able to discard certain pieces of evidence, being forced to pin them all up to create my crazy conspiracy board, was also irritating. There is no satisfying ending beyond having found all the documents related to this scandal. Did not appreciate the devs' personal political leanings being inserted into the game via scribbled notes. The scandal is strong enough to stand on its own. Game takes a few hours to complete. This is a neutral recommendation more than a no. It has some merit, like maybe you learn something about a real event (I did), or maybe you enjoy the process of hunting down bits of evidence through deduction. It's not bad for what it does (aside from clunky controls), but I'm not sure what it does really constitutes a game.

Great short game about doing research in an archive. You investigate the Nugan Hand Bank that was accused of being a CIA front for facilitating drug trafficking and arms deals. You make connections between names, places, and years to collect more and more information. The game is very simple and mostly consists of reading. You read letters, invoices, and newspaper headlines, collect information, and then use that info to find more information in the archives to do it again. I think a decent amount of people will find this game pretty boring, but if the idea piques your interest, you want to learn a little history, or you just want to make a conspiracy corkboard, I recommend A Hand with Many Fingers.

Absolute horrible input lag, even with low settings, no POV almost and low resolution. Utterly disappointing to have a game sold in these conditions. I don't care if it is only 4$. Do not recommend under any circumstances.

카페라떼 하나 사먹을 돈으로 나쁘지않은 경험 마련된 환경 안에서 이끌어낼 수 있는 플레이감각은 충분했다고 보는데 소재나 액자 안에 마련된 플롯에 비해서 액자 밖의 플롯은 좀 가벼운 감이 있음 좀 더 개발했으면 좋았을 것 같긴한데 뭐 아무튼 1~2시간 무난하게 쓸 수 있는 작품

A short but beautiful deduction game. I read that it's based on real political events, and that added a layer of beauty. The disturbing, solitary quest to uncover the truth is perfect for this steam festival, and the already reasonable price makes it even more affordable! Highly recommended!

bush did 9/11

Extremely short (1 - 2 hours) experience, highly recommended if you enjoyed The Roottrees are Dead. You explore a similar conspiracy (this time with CIA ties) in late 70s / early 80s. The story is interesting and it's fun discovering more and more secrets, but definitely way too short. Could've easily been a 5 hour game going deeper and deeper, but it just kinda ends abruptly. $5 is an okay price for this.

Un jeu d'enquête immersif avec un tableau de bord et de la ficelle rouge. Chaque document doit être épluché afin de trouver des informations clés. Je recommande ce jeu pour sa durée assez courte et le côté satisfaisant de mener une enquête.
