A Good Snowman Is Hard To Build

It is a cute puzzle game where you roll snowballs around a grid and stack them into perfectly sized snowmen, following the right order from small to large. At first it feels very simple, but it slowly becomes more challenging. You need to think carefully before every move because rolling a snowball makes it grow, and you can only push them, so walls and blocked paths can make things tricky. As you go further, the puzzles become more complex with different room shapes and obstacles. This makes you think more about planning ahead and finding the right path. The dream world levels are especially harder, and sometimes you need to rethink your whole solution when you get stuck. During playing, you can undo your moves as many times as you want and reset the puzzle anytime. There is no timer, so you can play slowly and take your time. You can also leave a puzzle and come back later, and it will still be in the same state when you return. The game also has small cozy details. You can sit on benches, lean against hedges, and hug the snowmen you build. These actions do not change the puzzles but make the world feel warm and charming. Overall, it is a relaxing but clever puzzle game that is cute, calm, and enjoyable to play.

Fun little puzzle game. I liked the dream bonus puzzles, less so the butterfly bonuses. 7 / 10

The best Sokoban-like I've played in a long time. It's the perfect length and doesn't overstay it's welcome. It has a good amount of depth for the length.

Assez bon. La première partie du jeu dans le monde réel est assez simple, sauf pour deux zones qui m'ont pas mal fait cogiter. Attention dans cette partie vous serez peut-être amené à « tricher » en sortant d'une zone en cours pour y rentrer par un autre passage, mais si vous faites ça vous louperez un succès facile à la fin, donc essayez de le faire sans sortir des zones dès le début. La seconde partie du jeu, dédiée au dernier succès, est beaucoup plus retorse, je dirais même confuse, voire ambigûe. Ce que je veux dire c'est que moi-même je n'ai pas du tout compris ni comment elle fonctionnait ni comment on y accédait, donc soyez prêts à ouvrir un p'tit guide dès que vous avez les 4 premiers succès. Le 100% vous prendra au moins 3 heures.

Cute graphics and simple mechanics hide a surprisingly challenging puzzler. There's not much in the way of hints though, so I had to seek out some guides foer help towards the end of the game.

A simple, short puzzle game with an interesting and original idea. The puzzles are enjoyable and well-balanced — not too easy, not too hard. The only downside is that the additional dream world levels feel a bit tedious. Recommended, especially on sale.

The game is ok. The dream world really brings the game down. The puzzles are hard in that world, but that's not the problem I have with it. It is the amount of steps you have to do perfectly. It gets annoying when your one tilt off and have to reset everything. To me, that isn't a fun puzzle, that is an annoying one. However, it is a cute and simple puzzle game, just dragged down by the dream world. 7/10
