An experimental short from the creator of To the Moon & Finding Paradise: A simple & surreal 1-hour interactive animation about a boy and an injured bird, told without dialogues. If you're looking for To the Moon-like experience, I'd suggest playing Finding Paradise first.

I recently played “To the Moon”, so now, with the intention of playing all the games from Freebird Games, I picked “A Bird Story” as the next one. The game is really short, and you can finish it in around an hour. To be honest, though, I went in expecting more of “To the Moon”, so this game disappointed me… a little. The game actually feels slow and boring to play. The music is good, but there are no dialogues, and it relies entirely on its story to keep you hooked. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough for me. The only good thing about it is that it's short. There are almost no gameplay mechanics, so the gameplay basically consists of walking around until your character decides to trigger a cutscene, then waiting until you can walk again. Getting 100% of the achievements is also really easy, since you only have to beat the game, so that's a plus. In the end, this game feels like one hour of almost nothing happening. If the story manages to hit you emotionally, then it's probably worth it. If it doesn't, though, I'd say skip it. I thought it would be more important as a setup for the next game in the series, “Finding Paradise”, but honestly, it isn't that important.

Bardzo interesująca przygoda audiowizualna, w której nie ma żadnego dialogu i wszystko jest przedstawiane wizualnie.
Another short and sweet story, which is a prequel to the game Finding Paradise. We spend a few days with a nameless and lonely little boy and an injured bird he became friends with. Not much game play with this one, mostly watching this friendship grow and occasionally have to walk with the arrow keys. The cool thing is there is no dialogue here and both the scenery and music does a lot of the heavy lifting. Really interesting design on a more cinematic style of story telling, worth a shot if you have a spare hour and a bit to play.
