I will still recommend this game because of its great art style and great builds/synergies. However, I'm disappointed in the lack of support after 1.0 opting only to support the mobile version with more updates, weapons, and characters. Lame
feel very repetetive has some cool weapons but there is close to no good build variety
I really enjoyed the game and had plenty of fun but I can't recommend a game when the last news the dev put out was a teased udpate/rework almost 2 years ago and has abandoned the game.
This is the first videogame in my memory that was physically painful to play. Not having an auto-fire option was a deliberate choice, and I genuinely cannot figure out the motivation behind it. The only thing about this game's combat that makes it different from other survivor-likes is that firing a weapon slows you down (for an undisclosed amount, but I assume it's like 30%?), but not only does that not change anything so dramatically as to warrant the removal of an auto-fire option (it's not even an OPTION!), there are unlocks that mitigate that effect completely. I've also been able to beat it on the first try. I've likely gotten kinda lucky with the unlocks, but I am pretty sure the game's design should have prevented this from being possible, because I couldn't find a good reason to keep playing after, even if I'd have ignored the part where it physically hurts to be holding down a left mouse button for 20 minutes at a time. 5 early onset arthritis out of 5 carpal tunnel syndrome.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics.
This game could be fun. But it is massively hindered by visibility issues in my opinion. There is a severe lack of visibility/accessibility options. In certain builds you cant see anything on the screen, because you have projectiles / enemies(to be fair those can have outlines) / enemy projectiles / summons ALL over the screen and cant tell good from bad. A good example where a game has these options is Brotato where you have an opacity slider for almost anything in the game. Other than that there are some interesting builds that could be pursued but under the described cirumstances i dont think its worth it and there are FAAAAR better Survivors out there that are worth your time.
A vampire-survivor-like with unique and attractive art style and Nova drift-inspired upgrade systems (each small skill tree has one basic skills, a choice of two upgrades, and an ultimate skill). Very enjoyable with a dozen unique characters; and personally 20-minute runs are just enough to build and enjoy a build with it overstaying its welcome. The main downside is the lack of enemy variety.
Abandoned and not as fun as competitors. Could have been something.
