Classic roguelike, easy to play, maybe not so easy to master. There are a few interesting differences from classic rogulikes.
Meh. It sucks. The music punctures my ears.
The graphics are trying to be retro, and I like many retro styled games, but the art style sucks here. The gameplay is boring. 不好玩..
I enjoyed certain aspects of this game: Gearing, abilities and level maneuvering. I killed the demon lord but not until he came after me. Here's why. At the end of the level there was a gate down a narrow hallway. I summoned and regened stamina to full. As soon as I opened the gate I was warped to the bottom of the room surrounded by enemies and my summons were gone. To try and recover I summoned my angel and then the enemy all shot and hit me killing me in one go. I was using conjuration and transmutation. The plan was simple. Get holy 3 to get angel, raise both transmutation and conjuration to build my summoner (conjuration 12 Transmutation 12 magic 12 int 12+) and knowing that summons were weak late game I planned on using angel to heal my summons and tank the mobs. This was tested and worked well. Though I suffered from exhaustion the cost was minor. Using incinerate to take out pesky enemies like the strong trolls and most other mobs hate fire. Id be ok with the teleport if I had a chance to do anything and if it had happened at any other time in the game. Introducing a mechanic in a game that teaches you to prepare for situations by exposing you to them and having you min max moves and casts is the fundamental aspect of this game unless you can't prepare for it. In this case I couldn't do anything. Things I liked 1.) Enemies had weaknesses and knowing them made strategy entertaining. 2.) Looting gear. The choices were ok so im counting that as a minor win 3.) The level choices. Do I go for spell books or armor rack. Spells or rescue rewards. Loved considering the options. 4.) Ability variety. Choosing what spells to use was a big part of the fun. Some could go over allies while others couldnt. Some summoned and others restricted enemies. It was fun to customize. 5.) Different narrative endings. Getting the bad ending doesn't upset me. It is, after all, an achievement (Not an actual achievement but something to achieve) Castlevania did this and I loved it. Things I disliked 1.) In a game about preparation everything I prepared was taken away from me. -If I have a wall of firey beasts and stone golems how the HELL can they target me in the way back, hates that aspect. 2.) Sometimes in a run the random loot would SCREW you. There should never be a playthrough where the combination of potions and equipables make it impossible to win. It's not innovative. It's annoying and it doesn't respect the players time (1 healing potion? Really? And don't say oh you need to take healing. I wasn't a healer. If I was a warrior would you say take healing? No I'd just be out of luck start over I guess, lame.) 3.) Being so restrictive with points and builds in the aspects that enemies require specific strats to beat and straying from those strats make it so you need to start over and follow a strict path is more like chess and less like an rpg dungeon crawler. 4.) High thresholds for skills hitting. Even with my transmutation at 12 and int at 12 and magic at 12 I was missing almost every cast of incineration. oh maybe I should have put more points in enchantment or get some ability to restrict the enemy. Cant really do that without making me a paper towel and the aforementioned room would have killed me even worse then it did before making the achievements to win without dying impossible. 5.) Uninspired loot. +3 to intelligence, +1 to strength ooooo exciting. Where's the "instead of one large fireball your fireball splits into 3 weaker fireballs spreading damage or summoning and fire: "When your fire strikes an enemy you summon a random elemental based on the elements you posses". Morphing abilities are WAY more engaging than stat sticks. It's not only my pet peeve in rpg dungeon crawlers but it's lazy. Anywho, you can shout "skill issue" and you'd be right but in a game that restricts your choices so much and takes the freedom from the players hands the "skill issue" is in the hand of the developer and not the player. I'd love to see an improved version of this game and I'm sure it already exists (wait Azure Dreams) until then ill beat my head on the wall and try to get my last 4 achievements but who knows if ill get it. At this point im doing it because im angry at the game and not because it's fun. Maybe ill get therapy for that but until then here I go to try again...
Mediocre game, but development is stopped.
nikdy jsem to nehrál.
This is another one of those games that is fun, easy to pick up, and fun for a little while. That said, it would be better as a mobile game. It's the equivalent of a clicker, IMO. Not a bad game and a reasonable price. I can't find any real reason to not recommend it.
The game is very, very, VERY rudimentary. It's not exactly bad. But it's something a young, first-time game maker might produce. I have a friend with a 14-year-old son who is into games, and maybe into programming games. If he showed me this as his new project, I'd fawn praise on it. But as a released Steam game? Not great.
One of the worst games I've ever played, would rather piss my money away on gerbils.
