Отличная игра, классная механика строительства, интересные 6оссы и крипы. Есть конечно 6аги но разра6ы как я понял активно патчят. Крайне рекомендую!
Zombolion is yet another of literally hundreds of lazy amateur 2D retro top-down shooter/brawlers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one is a godawful asset flip/kitbash from the Russian asset flippers at SP Games... they took a bunch of basic GameMaker Studio pixelcrap sprites and a basic GameMaker Studio top down shooter game blueprint, and rushed it onto Steam Direct to try scrounge a few more roubles out of gamers. SP games have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Battle Tanks: Arena" = Kawaii Tanks Project developed by Chobi
"Tank Commander: Battlefield" = Battle Tank Starter Kit developed by Hardworker Studio
"WWII Tanks: Battlefield" = Physics Tank Maker developed by Chobi
"WWII Tanks: Forgotten Battles" = Physics Tank Maker developed by Chobi
"Raccoon: The Orc Invasion" = 2D Forest Assets Pack developed by Olan Artworks
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. It's a bare minimum viable product that doesn't exist as a game for gamers. It just here to generate Steam keys in bulk to sell through key reseller sites. It lacks polish, depth, indeed lacks any of the level of quality gamers expect from genuinely made games. It's a GameMaker Studio kitbash and nothing more. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the GameMaker Studio construction kit/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset favoured by amateur developers as it's cheap and requires little in the way of development skill, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. GameMaker Studio is most commonly used to make retro pixel shovelware and cash grabs. A strong argument can be made that construction kits like GameMaker Studio should never be used to make games for profit, as the "developer", SP games has done here. These construction kits are intended to teach people some of the basic principles of game development, and to make small demos to pass around with friends. They're not intended to replace to actual work of real, professional game developers. So it's inappropriate when amateurs try to use these for profit, without any actual, real game development effort taking place. This doesn't result in products that have any real meaningful value for gamers. The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2026 (and this was released not so far back in 2025), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? Zombolion has the utterly unrealistic price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. For comparison, the $5 asking price for this game could get you games like "Just Cause 3", "Bioshock 2 Remastered" or "X-Com 2". No pixelcrap is worth $5. If developers want to get paid the same kind of money as real game developers who know how to do graphics properly, they need to learn how to do graphics properly. Finally, remember, if you buy a game from a known unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Zombolion is a fast-paced top-down survival shooter that blends arcade combat, zombie horde defense, and base-building mechanics into a chaotic apocalypse experience focused entirely on survival against impossible odds. The game places players in the role of a sheriff protecting a hidden underground bunker after civilization has been consumed by a deadly outbreak. Rather than emphasizing cinematic storytelling or deep narrative systems, the game concentrates on nonstop combat, defensive preparation, and the constant pressure of holding back increasingly dangerous waves of undead enemies. The gameplay immediately throws players into action with little downtime. Zombies attack relentlessly from every direction, forcing constant movement and aggressive shooting from the very beginning. Early waves introduce manageable enemy groups that allow players to understand the basic mechanics, but the pace escalates quickly as larger hordes and stronger enemy variants begin flooding the battlefield. The game thrives on chaos, creating intense survival situations where players are constantly balancing combat, resource management, and defensive positioning under overwhelming pressure. One of the game’s biggest strengths is its combination of direct shooting mechanics and bunker defense systems. Players are not simply surviving endless waves with firearms alone. Resources collected during battles can be invested into defensive upgrades, automated turrets, and fortifications that strengthen the bunker against future attacks. This additional layer of strategy helps the gameplay feel more engaging than many smaller arcade survival shooters because survival depends not only on combat skill but also on smart preparation and efficient resource usage. Combat itself feels energetic and satisfying. Weapons are designed around fast arcade action rather than realism, allowing players to tear through massive enemy groups using machine guns, explosives, and defensive tools that create large-scale destruction across the battlefield. Gunplay remains responsive throughout the experience, and the constant stream of enemies creates a satisfying rhythm where every encounter feels tense and dangerous. The game succeeds most during moments where the battlefield becomes completely overwhelmed with zombies while players desperately struggle to maintain control. Enemy variety also helps maintain tension during longer sessions. Standard zombies quickly evolve into more dangerous creatures with unique attack styles and movement behaviors that force players to adapt their strategies constantly. Some enemies pressure defenses through sheer numbers, while others attack more aggressively or deal heavier damage to fortified positions. Later waves become especially chaotic as multiple enemy types attack simultaneously, creating frantic situations where players must divide their attention between combat and base survival. The progression systems provide a rewarding sense of growth over time. Strengthening the bunker and unlocking stronger defensive tools creates a satisfying loop where players slowly transform a vulnerable shelter into a heavily fortified survival stronghold. Watching defenses evolve alongside increasingly dangerous enemy waves helps maintain a constant feeling of advancement throughout the game. The upgrade systems are easy to understand but still provide enough strategic flexibility to encourage experimentation with different defensive setups. Visually, Zombolion embraces a retro-inspired pixel art style that complements its arcade gameplay effectively. The environments are colorful despite the apocalyptic setting, enemy designs remain easy to recognize during crowded combat sequences, and attack effects help emphasize the explosive chaos of each battle. The graphics themselves are relatively simple overall, but the clear presentation works well for a survival shooter built around large enemy swarms and nonstop action. The sound design contributes heavily to the game’s intensity. Weapons produce loud and satisfying audio effects, explosions feel impactful, and the soundtrack maintains an energetic pace that supports the escalating chaos of combat. Audio cues also help players react to approaching threats during crowded encounters. Combined with the relentless enemy assaults, the sound design helps maintain tension throughout every survival attempt. Replayability is another strong point of the experience. Different upgrade paths, defensive layouts, and combat strategies encourage repeated runs as players experiment with new approaches to surviving longer against larger hordes. The inclusion of a level editor also gives players opportunities to create custom maps and scenarios, adding additional longevity beyond the standard gameplay progression. However, the game also suffers from several limitations that become more noticeable during extended sessions. The core gameplay loop remains fairly repetitive over time, with most of the experience revolving around surviving enemy waves, collecting resources, and repeating the same upgrade cycle repeatedly. While the action remains entertaining initially, players searching for deeper narrative content or significant gameplay evolution may eventually feel the formula becoming predictable. The indie production scale is apparent throughout the game as well. Animations are fairly basic, environments lack major visual variety, and the overall presentation does not reach the polish level of larger survival shooters. Menus and interface systems are functional but simple, reinforcing the feeling that the project focuses almost entirely on gameplay rather than cinematic presentation or technical sophistication. Later stages can also become visually overwhelming due to the sheer number of enemies and effects appearing simultaneously on screen. While this chaos contributes to the game’s intensity, there are moments where tracking incoming threats becomes difficult amid the explosions and crowded battlefield conditions. Some players may enjoy the overwhelming pressure, while others may find it frustrating during especially crowded encounters. Despite these flaws, Zombolion succeeds because it fully embraces its identity as a chaotic arcade survival shooter. The game understands the appeal of endless zombie destruction, defensive preparation, and high-pressure combat scenarios, and it delivers those elements consistently throughout the experience. It does not attempt to become overly complicated or narrative-heavy, instead focusing entirely on creating addictive wave-based survival gameplay. Zombolion may not redefine the zombie genre or provide the depth of major survival-action titles, but it still offers a highly entertaining experience filled with frantic combat, satisfying progression, and nonstop undead chaos. Its repetitive structure and rough presentation prevent it from becoming a true standout, yet the combination of bunker defense mechanics and arcade-style shooting remains consistently fun. For players who enjoy top-down survival shooters and overwhelming zombie battles, the game delivers a chaotic and rewarding apocalypse adventure that is difficult to put down once the action begins.
