About
ZeroSpace is a hybrid sci-fi RTS / RPG game that allows you to play as the commander of The Protectorate, a galactic force dedicated to securing humanity’s place in the galaxy. The Orion sector is locked in a vicious power struggle between many alien factions, all armed to the teeth and ready to fight to the death to achieve space dominance. Harness the latest warfare technology and recruit seasoned shock troopers and specialist crew members. Navigate through political turmoil as you make the hard choices needed to guarantee humanity’s place among the stars. But really the choice is yours. Don’t like the Protectorate? Pick a different faction, and wipe your opposition off the face of the galaxy.
Deploy infantry, artillery and air weaponry to dominate the battlefield. Engage in strategic buildcraft and troop deployment either solo, with a friend or against everyone. Orbital weapons, nuclear strikes, mechs are just some of the ingredients you get to play with. Pick your favorite arsenal and allegiance and lay waste to your enemies, scattering their burning carcasses among the Orion Sector.
Jump into an epic, cinematic saga of brotherhood in arms that spans the galaxy. Take on the mantle of Aster, Commander of the Protectorate, tasked with saving humanity from losing access to interstellar travel and receding into an age of darkness and ignorance. Engage in a cinematic RPG experience where your choices shape the future of the galaxy, then drop into the battlefields to execute on your strategies.
With 4 warring factions (3 active in pre-launch period), 7 mercenary factions and 14 distinct commanders all vying for power and dominance, you will have to use all your wit and strategic thinking to come out on top. Ally yourself with the right parties, build out your force, and protect the Orion sector.
A Caelo Ad Terram.
For centuries the Protectorate have been the stalwart defenders of humanity’s ventures through the Orion Arm, guarding against enemies foreign and domestic of the United Earth Spheres. As humanity’s galactic infrastructure teeters on the brink of collapse over a deficit of the resource “flux,” the Protectorate brings honed tactics and heavy firepower to bear. Field veteran commandos to deep strike enemy positions, or bring the heavy firepower of your mech divisions to break enemy lines.
Grow. Expand. Exterminate.
The Grell are a tide of highly evolved plant-like creatures that spawn sites of raw flux crystals through the galaxy, and humanity’s first contact with alien life. As external powers dive deeper into exploiting flux for faster than light travel, the once passive Grell have begun to flood across worlds, wiping out those who would threaten their biosphere. Expand your blooms by spreading the roots of your biomass across the battlefield, and rip apart your enemies with twisted evolutions from the acidic Harbinger to the rampaging Reaver.
Across a Million Worlds, We March.
The Legion of Truth are a fanatical empire from beyond the reaches of known space, devoted to their Emperor and a pantheon of god-like beings. Their armies crusade across the cosmos, bringing all in their path under the Idals, and purging those unwilling or unable to accept the voice. Drown your enemies with waves of expendable Thralls and Fanatics, and break your enemy under the treads of the titanic Terror Tank, a mobile fortress that can reconfigure with the tide of battle.
For Purpose. For Survival.
The Xol are civilization of autonomous robotic consciousness, brought to the brink of extinction by the dark crusade of the Legion. Though fiercely individualistic, they are united by one imperative: survival. As the tide of annihilation turns against them, the Xol will bring the most advanced robotics technology in the galaxy to bear, wield the accumulated genius of their society, and wipe out all who threaten their future.
Rank to become the dominant battle group in the sector as you take part in a living, breathing galaxy shared by thousands of real players. Defend your territory and conquer neighboring planets by leading a vast armada of troops, aliens, creatures, vehicles, and heavy weaponry- all for the glory of your alliance.

战役部分演出需要打磨,部分战斗肯定要重置。。。
Really fun RTS for especially being in early access. I can see the vision as the structure and scale of the game feel great and the campaign system was so cool and cinematic. Really excited to see what else comes to the game along the way!

Haven't been able to play more of this game yet, but the first mission and post mission conversations between you and another character caught up in the situation is interesting enough to make me want to come back to the game. I am very curious about how the story unfolds.
ZeroSpace is obviously not a finished product yet, but it's good enough for early access imo. This game has so much to offer already. The Galactic War game mode is engaging (although not fully implemented yet—there's still a lot of unrealized potential). Co-op missions are fun. There's a campaign with 11 missions where your choices matter. PvP has a TON of strategic depth, with your main faction and mercenary faction both contributing to choices for heroes, talents, units, and top-bar abilities. Unit and upgrade choices matter, and there's a high skill ceiling with all of the abilities you can use in a fight (most units have at least one active ability). Downsides: - Performance doesn't feel optimized. When there's a lot happening on-screen, frames drop to single digits. - You will encounter bugs.
good game
This game has the best bones of all the new RTS games. While its still working out UI and there are definitely bugs the core gameplay loop, the world, and the PVE design are all qiute strong. You can really see the influence of the pillars of the RTS community working on the game and I'm super excited to see where it goes. I'd recommend picking it up now if you like early access games and being part of a design coming to fruition, the team is super responsive and the community is really welcoming. If you're looking for a polished faux-EA experience then maybe hold off for 1.0, the bones are good but the polish is not there and I think the game deserves to be played in a state you'll enjoy it in.
Co-op was the most popular mode in StarCraft 2, and ZeroSpace seems to have learned from that and developed on that. The Galactic War mode is a 2vAI Co-op but also equally a one player mode (thank you!) with an AI ally you can give orders to. At the core it's just a series of different missions and different commanders, but zooming out to a galaxy map and fighting for influence over different systems makes it much more fun. Galactic War doesn't have that far to go to be truly better than SC2 Co-op (mostly more commanders and more mutators), and it seems on track to get there and more.
hello everybody psystarcraft here
Good game loop, still has alot of bugs, I think I can play this game for 500 hours easy. Biggest issues : -units collide and get stuck on other units -units moving will move other units then get stuck on other units -pathfinding kinda meh -hard to select units in case of doing splits -units pathfinding tends to go around in circles if its blocked by something else, This causes the units to always be moving, -some weird default delay settings in the options.
