A Caelo Ad Terram.
For centuries the Protectorate have been the stalwart defenders of humanity’s ventures through the Orion Arm, guarding against enemies foreign and domestic of the United Earth Spheres. As humanity’s galactic infrastructure teeters on the brink of collapse over a deficit of the resource “flux,” the Protectorate brings honed tactics and heavy firepower to bear. Field veteran commandos to deep strike enemy positions, or bring the heavy firepower of your mech divisions to break enemy lines.
Grow. Expand. Exterminate.
The Grell are a tide of highly evolved plant-like creatures that spawn sites of raw flux crystals through the galaxy, and humanity’s first contact with alien life. As external powers dive deeper into exploiting flux for faster than light travel, the once passive Grell have begun to flood across worlds, wiping out those who would threaten their biosphere. Expand your blooms by spreading the roots of your biomass across the battlefield, and rip apart your enemies with twisted evolutions from the acidic Harbinger to the rampaging Reaver.
Across a Million Worlds, We March.
The Legion of Truth are a fanatical empire from beyond the reaches of known space, devoted to their Emperor and a pantheon of god-like beings. Their armies crusade across the cosmos, bringing all in their path under the Idals, and purging those unwilling or unable to accept the voice. Drown your enemies with waves of expendable Thralls and Fanatics, and break your enemy under the treads of the titanic Terror Tank, a mobile fortress that can reconfigure with the tide of battle.
For Purpose. For Survival.
The Xol are civilization of autonomous robotic consciousness, brought to the brink of extinction by the dark crusade of the Legion. Though fiercely individualistic, they are united by one imperative: survival. As the tide of annihilation turns against them, the Xol will bring the most advanced robotics technology in the galaxy to bear, wield the accumulated genius of their society, and wipe out all who threaten their future.

So far this game has a lot of potential with it. The core mechanics are solid and the gameplay is quite enjoyable, that said there are some serious bugs and visual glitches that need addressing. I believe this will likely be addressed as this game develops, and I'll update this once the game is close to leaving or has already left early access.
absolutely in love with this amazing rts!
I kickstarted this game. I recommend this game if you like SC2 coop. The coop version in this game is really fun and it being a Galactic War where you can focus on a planet to give yourself buffs but also help your team take control of it to give everyone on your team buffs is really cool. The missions are pretty varied in what you have to do. One is a hold out mission where a massive enemy wave spawns after a point and you need to defend a cannon that will shoot a nuke to blow up that entrance for 4 nights. There was another mission where you had to push into the enemy base to destroy some Generators before time expires but after that you then needed to escort a walker into the enemy base and then defend it from raids as it comes back to your base. On the other hand the campaign is rough. It is just nowhere close to finished. The missions themselves that you can play are pretty good but there is pop in during the first mission, lots of dialogue is just missing, important cutscenes that should have emotional weight just do not have music or sound effects which takes you out of it. Sometimes your units just don't make voice lines when commanding them which can make a mission sound pretty silent. There are conversations with your crew after each mission that I did like but they stop around mission 4 and from then on if you try to talk to them it tells you the dialogue isn't ready yet. The bones of a good campaign are here but it needs at least a year or two of work. They have 12 missions done and they said they want to make 40 but honestly that sounds even further away than 2 years of work. I did not have any major technical issues besides the last mission where when I built a lot of air units (this is the mission you unlock them) my FPS tanked to around 20 when I was usually getting 80+. Once they all died though it jumped back up to normal. I did not try the PVP as I don't really care about PVP so I can't comment on that. This game is actual early access game, not a dev launching a game that is mostly finished and calling it early access. There are multiple things that are just not done yet that they want feedback on. If you like SC2 coop I think coop in this game is a great time. If you want a good campaign I say pass until its finished.

Def good feelings for a game with a lot of potentials, very promising
Some major flaws in early dev., there is no save and go back, once you start a mission or any game, no matter how long, you cannot save and return, it is either finish or fail. Early dev is not clear on how do obtain all resources, such a flux, which is critical in base development and unit development. There are no options in picking a faction in many of the scenarios, you get what is assigned. Has a lot of potential, but at this time, not worth the purchase price.
It's like if SC2 and Beyond All Reason had a baby
I use linux and currently don't really play the story. Cut scenes doesen't seem optimise. Lag or have missing shader and textures. And its a slide show. Its probably due to the Proton layer and I think on windows its less of an issue.
They've tried to combine favorite elements from many old RTS favorites and have somehow managed to do a good job. It feels pretty Indie, it needs some polish (not surprising as it just released in Early Access). But the ideas and the heart is in the right place! - RPG style campaign with dialog options that feels like Mass Effect (the style reminds of it also) - Start with 1 out of 3 heroes (2 based on your faction and 1 from your mercenary) so action starts directly, power level like a T2-unit, so more like Dawn of War than Warcraft 3. Mainly used to capture towers that gives XP (also like Dawn of War), that you buy talents for. - Streamlined macro, just plop down a building and if you don't have credits it'll queue and auto build when available. - Bases automatically build 'mineral'-workers, but Flux (gas) needs to be manually built (but they'll rally automatically), Flux is also placed further out on the map so those workers are more exposed to harass - Upgrades have lock outs (like Age of Empires/Mythology), you can't get 'em all. So plan your build. - 4 factions (3 in PvP currently) and 5 mercenaries, Pick 1 of each for a match. Both decides which units and talents you'll have access too, so either plug a weak spot with a mercenary or emphasize a strength. - Coop have a deeper meaning! Coop affects a Galactic war map (a bit like Helldivers 2), but you fight for 1 of 3 groups and if in control of a planet you'll get a bonus in coop. Resets in a season style. Many good ideas, as said, but it's still very much baking in the oven. It's starting to smell good though.
Fun game, UI is nice and easy to use. Large battles that dont rely on apm like other games. A little rough with certain cutscenes and sounds, going out. Game is on its way to greatness. New or old rts players will enjoy it heavily. Neat helldivers style galactic warfare with taking and holding planets and sectors while doing coop missions.
