A Caelo Ad Terram.
For centuries the Protectorate have been the stalwart defenders of humanity’s ventures through the Orion Arm, guarding against enemies foreign and domestic of the United Earth Spheres. As humanity’s galactic infrastructure teeters on the brink of collapse over a deficit of the resource “flux,” the Protectorate brings honed tactics and heavy firepower to bear. Field veteran commandos to deep strike enemy positions, or bring the heavy firepower of your mech divisions to break enemy lines.
Grow. Expand. Exterminate.
The Grell are a tide of highly evolved plant-like creatures that spawn sites of raw flux crystals through the galaxy, and humanity’s first contact with alien life. As external powers dive deeper into exploiting flux for faster than light travel, the once passive Grell have begun to flood across worlds, wiping out those who would threaten their biosphere. Expand your blooms by spreading the roots of your biomass across the battlefield, and rip apart your enemies with twisted evolutions from the acidic Harbinger to the rampaging Reaver.
Across a Million Worlds, We March.
The Legion of Truth are a fanatical empire from beyond the reaches of known space, devoted to their Emperor and a pantheon of god-like beings. Their armies crusade across the cosmos, bringing all in their path under the Idals, and purging those unwilling or unable to accept the voice. Drown your enemies with waves of expendable Thralls and Fanatics, and break your enemy under the treads of the titanic Terror Tank, a mobile fortress that can reconfigure with the tide of battle.
For Purpose. For Survival.
The Xol are civilization of autonomous robotic consciousness, brought to the brink of extinction by the dark crusade of the Legion. Though fiercely individualistic, they are united by one imperative: survival. As the tide of annihilation turns against them, the Xol will bring the most advanced robotics technology in the galaxy to bear, wield the accumulated genius of their society, and wipe out all who threaten their future.

ZeroSpace is still in fairly early development so don't expect a complete experience right now although,it is still fairly enjoyable to play currently and has some cool game modes that aren't typically included in RTS games such as a co-op and survival game mode in addition to what you'd expect in your standard RTS(campaign, skirmishes, pvp etc.) I personally have little interest in pvp and sincerely hope the devs continue to work on and polish the single player and co-op content and have purchased the game to support the development of the game which i typically wouldn't do but I think Zero Space has a lot of potential and so took the risk despite it's early access release. The co-op mode is of particuar interest as i think blizzard really dropped the ball in supporting it's own co-op mode in starcraft 2 despite it's popularity and ZeroSpace seems to be the only game i've seen even attempting to follow up on the success of this type of gameplay and could be the true sucessor to Starcrafts 2s mode if it is adequately supported and polished. There are a lot of doomers and trolls who bash this game at every opportunity which i'd advise ignoring as they seem to have a fanatical determination to see this game fail for whatever reason and pushed me to leave a positive review to counteract a lot of this overly negative and pessimistic sentiment. I'm personally waiting for the game to be fully released before investing more time into it so may not necessarily be worth the €40 price tag at this point, but if like me you'd like to support the development of the game could be worth making the purchase all the same, otherwise it may be best to wait until the full release before making a decision. I'll be following the develpment of Zero Space closely and will update my review if things change in a more positive or negative direction but for now i'm cautiosly optimistic and am happy to recommend the game.

I don't know what game many of the negative reviewers are playing, but I'm really impressed by this game - and I tend to be quite picky. Were people expecting a full game on the first day of early access?? First off the production quality is really high; everything is voice acted, there's cinematics, etc... I don't get the complaints about cutscene graphics being bad. They're totally fine, perfectly functional for this stage in development. I've played a couple of campaign missions; they're cool so far. The story is decent and the game isn't trying to tick any boxes - the main character is a dude who goes and shoots aliens. There's a manly energy to it that's missing from most modern games, and I welcome it. A word on people saying the game lacks content for the £30 price point. What are you talking about?! There are EA games for £20-25 such as Godsworn and Glory to Goo which launched with barely any features. In Goo's case it took like 12 months in EA to even get 8 missions or so (Goo is a bloody good game btw, get it). In short, you're tripping if you think this game doesn't have enough for the price. The gameplay itself is responsive and tuned to minimize busywork; just press tab and you bring up all of your production and can reinforce on the fly rather than having to set hotkeys and constantly manage that side of things. Lots of fighting, and micro is important - I've really enjoyed the skirmishes I've jumped into thus far. Macro is vital too in terms of expanding and getting lots of unit production. I saw some guy saying building is irrelevant, I don't have a clue what they're talking about. Maybe against the lowest difficulty AI. If you want to pump units you need to be making lots of barracks etc. and the game isn't shy about giving you plenty of basic resources to do that. The factions all feel varied and unique. I was quite impressed by the Grell, they have a zerg flavour to them but it's an original take on a swarm faction and they have a distinct feel. You're spreading creep and building unit spawners all over the place then releasing huge waves; it's awesome. Legion seem really interesting too from my limited experience with them; lots of fodder units with strong heroes and powerful lategame units. Just a few cons that I hope the devs iron out. First off the game moves at a blistering pace. This is nice in some ways but can be overwhelming and encourages constant rush tactics. Related to that is the problem of base spread. Unlike SC 2 where expanding is slow, it seems in this game expansion is really quick - it's too easy and cheap to do. This causes another problem, especially vs AI: the game only ends when all of the enemy outposts are destroyed, but the AI builds outposts at every opportunity, so you're running cleanup for 5-10 minutes trying to quash half a dozen outposts the AI went and built. This can be mitigated as you get used to the maps and focus on map control rather than moving straight on the main base, but it's still a little much imo. The UI is pretty bad but the devs have acknowledged it's in heavy development. Overall a game packed with promise. I'll be playing this a lot.
Unlike Stormgate, this game actually is promising. Follow this.
Really fun RTS. It’s a bit rough round the edges as it’s early access but to me it’s one of the better Modern RTS games. Game seems to get a lot of unreasonable hate this game is doing a lot of things right. Galactic War is a fun mode and you can even play using AI. The campaign is a lot better than I expected. It’s a bit pricey but if the game gets polished up it’s going to be well worth it. Can easily see myself getting my moneys worth from this one. Only grips I have is the UI is a bit bland. And performance can be a bit all over the place at times. But overall it’s a positive!
The game is not worth the price right now. It has a lot of bugs. I can barely get 10-15 fps during cutscenses even though I have a higher end graphics card (5070 ti). 4k resolution doesn't work very well. Sometimes the ability hotkeys don't work, I would hardly even call this game ready for alpha especially for the price it is at right now
Bought ZeroSpace recently and have 45 hours at time of review. Short Early Access review down below. -Easy to learn if youre a Dawn of War or any casual RTS player -Graphics 10/10 -Sound design 10/10 -Currently has 4 factions, 51 Units plus all the additional merc units and heros/ 8 Heros/ 38 Buildings/ 11 faction specific talents -Great control of units with custom group hotkeys when set up, can make custom line formations by dragging right-click -Campaign is short being Early Access, however I like the direction they are going, feels like Mass Effect -Galactic War is interesting and where you will spend most of your time there are 10 pre made missions to do when contributing to the capture of a system, I play them on random so every game feels different and you get that bonus XP, also features ingame events like pirate swam - Also currently has Versus Mode (PVP), VS AI, Custom and a survival mode -Finally the price, IMO <$50 is steep for an Early Access however, for what they currently have in the game and everything mentioned above, I believe it IS WORTH your time and money if you want to play a fresh RTS RPG, I have personally seen the devs playing their own game on twitch, specifically one of the devs thats responsible for game balance and they seemed to genuinely enjoy their game, we like to see that so I am more than happy to support the developement of ZeroSpace and hope you do to. Frosty Out
Messy, bad graphics, awful UI but the worst thing of all there are 0 super weapons. More and more of these RTS games are coming out without them and using the excuse that it makes for more strategy failing to realize when you do that it messes lots of things up including the need to play such a game in the first place. I honestly uninstalled this game, I didn't ask for a refund yet but if no superweapons and fixes get added I will not be playing this game anymore.
Fun and an actually cool feeling RTS game. If you can find fun in an RTS game, just buy it and have fun. It's either that or you buy a McDonalds meal for £35 LOL.
