Totally worth the cost but if you can get a discount but still amazing physics
I like this game a lot. I'm a new VR player and I've only ever used PlayStation and Xbox controllers before. I spent about a week of about a half an hour to an hour each morning playing and replaying the tutorial, getting used to the controls. Where items go, how to move my arms correctly, how to reload a gun because you can't just push X to reload. Just got back from my first mission and it's pretty nice. I'm still a lousy shot, but I'm better than I was when I first started. I managed to complete the mission by a bit of cheese, I think. I waited in an elevated vantage spot and sniped at the enemies as they tried to come up the stairs. The AI is only so-so - the enemies kinda just walked into my bullets. I haven't seen any enemies yet that didn't just run at me or stand in place and shoot at me. And this game could've used some stealth. The game is very immersive. And immersiveness is the number-one quality I look for in a game. I have about 130 hours in Stalker 2 and Z.O.N.A. reminds me a lot of an indie version of Stalker. I wish you could put Stalker 2 in VR. I tried using UE VR on Stalker 2 to make it a VR game, but it was a stuttering mess on my RTX 5080 and Ryzen 9900X. There's probably a lot of tinkering I need to do. But none with Z.O.N.A., and I'll keep at it.
