This was a really lovely game to play! One playthrough took me just a little over two hours, and accidentally becoming a beloved king with a boyfriend sticking to his guns and doing everything to pass equality laws ASAP was really cute. I can't attest for replayability values as it stands right now since I only got through the game once, but the management part of it wasn't much of a challenge either and seeing my counselors change attitudes towards me was lovely. I did find turning down advances all the time and only being able to save once a week pretty annoying, but nothing heinous that would stop me from playing again. As other reviewers have pointed out, its ideas feel scattered at times (I have no idea what the stats do nor do they really ever explain? Will I ever catch a fish???) and it can be a bit tone-deaf at times (I really do NOT enjoy having to have real life homophobia repeated to my face word by word in a game celebrating being gay, for example.) But overall, I definitely recommend giving it a go if you're looking for something nice and queer today.

GAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Such a refreshing and fun experience! Your Royal Gayness combines humor with clever gameplay, making for an unforgettable adventure. The writing is fantastic, and the characters are lovable. Loved every minute!
Such an incredibly cute gay little game! Highly recommend.
Really well oriented. Great story and I love art style they have for the game. Worth the purchase!
As a person that's been out for over half my life now, this made me cry happy tears.
A cute, awesome little short game. I loved playing it =) I thought it would be harder to win, but seems like I did everything quite successful on my first playthrough
