The town slut I am
Симулятор шаболды
Other than there being MANY typos in the script, the fishing mini game being unnecessarily difficult, and some of the pixel art for the more intimate scenes being indecipherable/not sexy at all---this is a decent visual novel game. I thoroughly enjoy the sandbox-y adventure feel to it as well as how non-linear the story-line is. I'm definitely one of those people who like random game achievements, and there are plenty of those in this game. Although there's this adventure element beyond the plot, I'm not the biggest fan of the energy bar and having to travel all the way back to the store, buy something cheap (because money is pretty limited unless you play snake a million times...which drains your energy quickly, and earns you pennies in return), then go to the Inn's kitchen to cook something out of the recipe book to eat just so the energy bar doesn't completely empty. I'd love to mod that out of the game, but I doubt anyone would take the time to work on it. Anyway, for the price, it's not bad. If you're the average straight man looking for b00biez, this ain't the game for you, bud. This one's for the Tumblr girls, gays, and theys who read naughty fan-fiction at an early age and now love to be read dirty to as an adult. If you get it, you get it.
there's nothing wrong with sex for the sake of sex, and i like the setting + premise of the game but the writing and character introductions feel extremely rushed, and the game seems very bare? it's too easy to softlock yourself, and the game just feels like it was released way too early
I really like this game and I really want to give it an upvote, but I can't because the game breaks every time Jak goes to jail and I can no longer enter the sheriffs office. This bug is experienced by others but no fix for it. Even after multiple resets.
I love being the town thot
William you have bewitched my body and my soul
To preface this review: I like this game. There's a lot to appreciate and I'm always down to support solo devs and artists. Overall, I'd recommend it. That being said, I'm admittedly disappointed based on how cool the concept of the game is. The wild west is always a cool setting, but combining that with mystery, horror, and a dating sim is such a genius concept. The art is also phenomenal. It has such a distinct style that makes all the characters look so cool. The designs are great as well! I love how characters are represented through their colors and tones in the art style. My problems, unfortunately, begin with the writing. Being a woman who is primarily interested in other women, my first game encounters were with the two female characters in the game. Both of them (especially Jade) have designs that I adore. I really wanted to uncover some depth and story to these two characters. Instead what I got were dialogue trees that lasted 5 minutes. After the one encounter each, the characters basically just give you the cold shoulder. This was particularly disappointing with Jade, who I really wanted to learn more about after she opens up a bit more in a part of the conversation. The actual content is placed entirely into the male characters. All the story and choices revolve around interactions and choices related to the male cast members. What makes it so infuriating to me is the illusion of choice and depth. The game is unconcerned with 2 of the 7 characters in the game completely, which also happen to be the only 2 women as well :( I understand that not every game is made for me. I just think there could have been so much more done with the concept. The game already has you get involved with mystery....why not involve the entire cast as suspects? It makes the world feel smaller when characters become cardboard cutouts after 5 minutes. I deeply appreciate this game. It's charming, has gorgeous art and is such a cool and ambitious concept. However, I feel as though the actual execution leaves a lot to be desired. I really hope that the dev's future endeavors have characters and decisions feel more involved, while still having really great art and ambition.
Buen juego de vaqueritos
