You Can Kana - Learn Japanese Hiragana & Katakana

Great game to learn Japanese characters, i tried learning on Duolingo for months but could never get it, until the other day i started you can kana, and was able to learn all of hiragana in less than 2 days. im still to start katakana yet. but I'm letting hiragana set in 1st. (i wish there were ways to mix and match the palette's and not just be stuck with one or the other)

This game helped me to learn all Hiragana, dakuten, and yoon in 2 days. The way that it forces you to learn all of the modifiers in a linear path is difficult at first, but perfect when you pair it with other resources for context. It is simply the best resource for learning kana that I have found, hands down. I love it!

Good for drilling your kana. It's really cheap on sale too.

good game to help learn and remeber kana, would reccomend

This is a really good bite sized app. The typing mini-game is really helpful for quick learning, puts some pressure on you, forcing you to speed up your thinking. I try to do the challenge mode nightly to keep my learning fresh. Good for beginners, don't get this if you're well into your learning.

Very cute and cozy. It really lets you take your time and is very soothing during the main lessons and can get exciting in the challange mode. I am a good ways into the katakana and it feel like its a really good teaching tool so far! Definitely recommend. Kind of want the soundtrack as like a chillout playlist

I'm a native English speaker learning Japanese and I have accepted that it will take me a long time. This game keeps me sharp on all the Kana and it's so fun and relaxing. I love it!
