Back in the good old days, this was one of our go-to party games when I was still playing on console. Now, one of my friends is moving to another country very soon, and we are going to play it again for nostalgic reasons. It may seem silly to buy a game like this at full price (especially during the summer sale), but this game has something special that makes it worth every cent. The balance of the three types of triangles is incredible, it offers different strategies for playing the game. It's a perfect example of the "simple to learn, difficult to master" type of game.

Love this game, but was sad to find out more than 4 player controller support (6 xbox one controllers) does not work anymore. I bought it on xbox where 3v3 local play works just fine. I tried fiddling around with different combinations of controller input settings, but nothing works.

This game made me wanna give up everything I am doing in my life and become a professional videoball player and life out my own shonen sports anime in an alternate universe where this game became THE e-sport. The level of reverence for video game history is staggering, up notching the already perfect digital electronic competition of Pong, and somehow not ruining anything, but rather infusing it with the delicious friction of Super Mario Bros. 3 and the strategy of an RTS. A selection of modes that celebrates both arcade video games and competitive esports. A meticulously designed campaign that teaches you all you need to know, and finally a highly specific sense of style in its music and presentation. Quite funny too. Some video games are for bozos but this one bozos who've had the top high score on a Galaga arcade machine in Akihabara.

incredibly underrated underplayed game tim rogers is a genius if you have enough people to play, this is one of the best local multiplayer games ever made 2025 edit: i have now bought this game for every platform it is available on, and every time, no matter what group of people i am playing with, no matter how well we know each other, no matter how good we are at the game, this game always gets everyone talking and shouting 10/10 best local multiplayer versus game technically the only downside is you need 4 players to play but i dont even care anymore
