Reviews
just simply not fun, controls are clunky
You are Peter Shorts is dumb and gross in a very endearing way, it's a metroidvania that require some pretty precise platforming while the game physics are actually pretty floaty with a bunch of inertia, it's pretty unique and I felt that the platforming was fun to solve overall. Combat overall is interesting with a simple move set that get added upon as you unlock new forms throughout the game, however brawls can get messy real quick as you're often in small arenas against multiple enemies, it's mostly easy thought as you have a huge health pool right from the start that make most fights pretty easy until they're not toward endgame. Most of the time the only real threat you'll face will be insta kill spikes, there is an easy mode that adds platforms if that's a pain point for you. You Are Peter Shorts is a bit of a psycho pick with how unusual it plays, but I had a lot of fun with it !

I loved playing through this game! It is very funny, and I loved the writing behind all of the other peters. I think this game deserves way more attention than it currently has. It's worth it, trust.

Now this is the perfect type of jank
Super Smash style platform fighter, if it was also Super Metroid.
The Co-Op makes you feel like you're sitting infront of a CRT playing Contra III for the first time again (positive). Hilarious art & writing, really fun to learn, wild level of depth to the mechanics and the pvp mode is one of the most fun platform fighters I've played in a while. Definitely give it a try if you've got a friend or two to Peter around with!
