Yet another tower defence

I bought the game with the release discount of 40% And I enjoy towerdefense games very much. I played so many bad TDs, that I am happy that another "good" one found it's way into my library. Pros: - actual need of strategy - difficult enough - funny description of towers, enemies and abilities Cons: - very short - no story - no replay value Why do I recommend the game? I enjoyed the game very much, although I am no TD-noob I had a hard time getting all the achievments because this game actually is difficult. Depending on the map, even playing it on easy is not actually easy. Also this game just has my sense of humor when it comes to the discriptions. I just wished the game would have been bigger and the lack of a story is also a point that I find sad. Still I would recommend this game to everyone who loves TDs as much as I do! But please be vary, that your experience with the game might vary from mine.

Interesting TD game: Pros: -funny -easy achievements -the game has the code greed is good which is an easter egg reference to Michael Douglas -other easter eggs as well -you can speed up the game as much as you want Cons: -some of the mini levels can be a bit annoying Not bad overall 7.5/10 (If Kingdom rush is 11/10)

I love tower defence games.. This one disapointed me. Several maps have the location for setting towers half way off the map edge you... You can not set a tower on square because you can not see the weapon selection ... The map after the ice map only gives 2 gems and you can not build defence I tried, my husband tried.. We give up.

I love TD games, but not this one. The UI needs work. Initital tower selection menu is only four, which results in you having to memorize what section advanced towers reside in. For example buy a gattling gun to get to flamethrower, which makes no logical sense to me. When selecting the creatures your killing it gives a brief description yet no data, like strengths, weaknesses, etc. More memorization required. There are more niggling problems but I don't see the point of stating them. For a tablet this game may work, but for a PC it's pretty bad.

this tower defense looks like it was programmed after one of the udemy game dev tutorials. the controls are clunky, the camera is far from easy to use, the maps looks dated, and overall there is no content worth re-playing after playing it through. the same version has been released on ios where the controls and camera are even worse. released, and never updated. don't buy unless u wanna experience a real trashy tower defense game. ps: some extra levels are just plain stupid button smashing with little to no sense at all. on ios you have to do same where a tapping isn't recognized as fast as mouse clicks - frustration pure.

It could have been a good game. I gave up after playing some of the scenes. The name alone is off putting. It shows a blase attitude by the creators. Here are the problems I had: First the game was jerky and slow on my computer. Taking the resolution down made it blurry. There was no good compromise. I think the artwork is pretty good but it didn't work well in this application. Second, the game was really simple. There just wasn't enough to push you to experiment. The towers were uninteresting compared with other tower defense games that I have played. As an avid player of tower defense games, I don't recommend this one. Although it is very cheap, it is still not worth it.

"Yet another tower defence" is a simplistic Unity base tower defense game. You've got a small number of upgradeable turrets and a couple of direct point and click attacks... and that's all there is to this. There's a tongue-in-cheek "meta" theme as the game admits it's just another TD game... and I'm pretty sure the game assets are all stolen/flipped, certainly, if this is the case, they are uncredited, and that's not okay. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but it doesn't seem to have made it to the app stores. It's unclear why this was put on Steam instead of the app stores it seems to have been designed for. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes "Yet another tower defence" might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. "Yet another tower defence" is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
