Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this really yakuzad my kiwami 2
GRACIAS
Beautifully crafted sequel to Yakuza Kiwami with a well written story and lots of fun content along the way. Really fun and creative side quests and the most polished combat so far. The stories of these games turn ridiculous, they're really fun but you still take them seriously because it's just so fun. Something these games do well is immersion to the environment - I stay locked in for hours every time. Beautiful line between realistic graphics and an original art style that I like which work perfect together. Without spoiling anything, the short Majima Saga story you unlock through the main story established some nice conclusions to characters from the previous games even while the exploration, side stuff and depth lacked that the main game had.
idk how many remasters a game needs for the engine and fighting mechanics to reach this level of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the game gets a 6/10 just because the story is compelling enough for me to see it through. you might get a better experience emulating an older version of this game instead of playing this pos
Majima! Majima! Majima! Majima! Majima kensetsu!
I think this marks the point in the Yakuza franchise where the stories and plot points become silly and not realistic in the slightest. Yakuza 0 and 1 have funny moments, but their stories can be taken seriously and tell incredible tales. Here there is just too much random nonsense forced into the plot and while it isn't too big a deal, it does kill the mood of a serious, bloody story. However, the combat and gameplay are both very good. This is a pleasing game and playing it is fun, but enjoying the story becomes hard after a certain point. Luckily Majima doesn't force himself everywhere this time and you can choose to ignore his minigames if you wish.
I have only played Yakuza 0 DC prior to this and I really enjoyed it. The story is the biggest draw for me and I thought it was pretty good, not quite as good as 0 but still good. This was my first Dragon Engine game so movement and combat and such took some getting used to but still enjoyable imo. Karaoke is my favorite minigame and in Kiwami 2 we have 8 songs, but we need more! Also this being the first game I played that had Haruka in it, I immediately wanted to protect Haruka at all costs.
