Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very fun game and very addictive
Surprisingly enjoyable game. This had languished in my library for a while, I think because the cartoonish artwork made me think it would be too silly. As usual, I comment from an achievement completionist's perspective, and except for one achievement, it was a gratifying experience. The exception is the "every timeline" achievement. As others have experienced, mine glitched the first time and I had to do it all over. This was tedious to the extreme, as one "complete" run requires you to play the entire game 9 times, mixing up the faction order each time. If it glitches, you have to start the 9 runs all over again. Luckly, I only had to run the second batch 6 times before I got it done.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Regarding the XCOM series, I have played XCOM 2, XCOM Enemy Unknown/Within and Chimera Squad, in that order. XCOM 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. and it is the refined version of EU/EW. Chimera Squad uses XCOM 2 assets and is a continuation of its story. Regarding the story, I really liked the integration angle. The characters although quippy, are interesting, and I liked most of their abilities. The gameplay is XCOM2 but is presented as scenarios, meaning that you do not need to spend 2-4 turns finding the target, instead you start mid gunfight. So, if you disliked that aspect of XCOM 2, then this game might be for you. It is a fun game, but the gimmick can get a bit stale after 15-20 hours. Still, on discount it is a good purchase. I believe that the game is better than the reviews that I have read so far. A piece of advice ( or several ): DO NOT pick SACRED COIL as your first investigation, as the final mission in that one is harder than anything else in the game. Also, do not rush the main quest ( purple missions ), as the game can get difficult if you are not well equipped. Keep in mind that not all characters suit all investigations the same, some are made to deal with certain enemies better than others. All in all, I had a lot of fun for 20 hours, and I would rate it as 7-8/10
If you have played the other XCOM games you have to play this one too. That's just the way it is. The cycling turn order is a bit different but works OK.
El cambio en la dinamica con los anteriores XCOM es evidente. Pero la historia engancha y a la que pillas las novedades todo es muy fluido. Lo recomiendo si te gusta la estrategia por turnos.
Muy bueno

all the same...
Vraiment pas mauvais quoiqu'un peu répétitif. Un spin-off pas cher.
