Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11/day in the week to Aug 14 → 18.29/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, GOG publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

came here after ZCOM to finally play it and man, it does not disappoint, vanilla, OG WOTC, both are amazing ways to play. Love the replayability and the drastic difference between DLC. It really feels like 2 different games. "Although I like the QOL changes from WOTC"
You know that pic of the marine waist deep in mud, with rain pouring down on him and a big ol smile on his face? "I like the way this sucks" Well that's Xcom 2, baby! Watch as you get attached to your customised soldiers and their weird hair/tattoos, then scream at them for missing a 90% chance shot, then cry big, gut-wrenching tears as they are inevitably crit from 2 screens away by some filthy alien and die screaming. Then reload your save (its okay, we all do it) and avert their fate like some kind of deity with ADHD. Seriously one of the best tactical games I've ever played, with an incredible base game and War of the Chosen is probably my all time favourite DLC barring maybe Blood and Wine for Witcher 3 and ME3's Citadel. And if for some reason you're not satisfied with the final product, then dive into the Workshop and explore the truly breathtaking plethora of mods that minds much smarter than myself have dreamed up. It really is one of those games that keeps on giving.
a great turn-strategy game, with which I had a lot of fun and still enjoy to play today. Room for improvement: I just wish a bit more quantitative information were directly included in the game, especially the skills figures like damage or range. I often have to look for those information in a separate windows.
458.5 hours on record. Well worth it.
I liked it more than Xcom EW, the story is more interesting feeling like every resource, weapon, people and troops you can get your hand on matter, and loosing anyone can set you back a lot, I wish there where more mission variety, the classes are interesting an really fun to play with, the granadier falls behind really fast. The graphics and environments are better but the game is 3 times the size now, only one of the chosen is really a treat the other 2 are jokes tat you can farm points from. The ruler aliens are fun to fight, i believe my viper king bugged, because he managed to scape with 1 health while on fire and never appeared again after that. Its a sequel that improves in every aspect and has a gameplay loop that is fun and you get caught in the one more turn loop.
