I can see why WRC7 has mostly positive reviews. The game is polished, there are no game crashes, freezes or stutters. There is progression from junior wrc, wrc2 to wrc (which I'm currenly on after 18 hrs). At the start of the season you pick a team, which has a car you're stuck with for the rest of that season. Over the progression of the season you get to know the car you're driving. Damage the car too much and you'll have to budget your repairs for the next race. There is no pressure to rank 1st, just getting to the finish line in one piece is an achievement in itself. Some of the rallies are really challenging (bloody Deutschland), the tracks are narrow af, while the Mexico stage has fathomless cliffs - it all makes for nailbiting races from the getgo. The is fun to play on a keyboard & mouse and on a controller. I would've preferred for more variety in pacenotes voices, given these are indispensable during racing. Can't even compare it to Dirt Rally, as it no longer on sale! This one is - kudos to KT for still keeping it around. I paid less than a dollar for WRC7 on a sale last year and still playing it. Get it!

Really solid rally game, great gameplay, fantastic variety of scenery & terrain, the Monte Carlo stages are my personal favourite, the winding snowy roads through the mountains are amazing, the leaderboard adds for extra challenge to see how far up you can get & gives each stage heaps of replay value, the only downsides are the top 100-200 on the leaderboard are cheaters depending on stage you play & this game could do with a bigger car list, but with that aside, the gameplay is fantastic.

Cool and fun rally game for a cheap price if you find it on sale, would recommend, good for all skill levels
