World of Mixed Martial Arts 3

I've played this game quite a bit. If you're looking for a challenging experience this might not be the right title. It's actually quite easy, just time consuming. But not in a bad way. I enjoy a relaxing game sometimes.

Great game. I consistently play it, however it wasn't what I thought it was. I thought I'd be managing a team, but managing a League is actually surprisingly fun. So if this seems like your thing, than it probably is worth your time.

[h1] Con el Inglés hemos topado [/h1] Las MMA son el único deporte profesional que sigo de forma asidua, pernoctando incluso para ver los eventos más insignes que tienen lugar en los tiempos presentes. Dada la espectacular falta de videojuegos basados en tan noble práctica en PC, me decidí a adquirir este título como única opción realista, atraído por sus mecánicas de manager y gestión. Por desgracia, tengo ante mí un brete infranqueable: El idioma. El juego está en inglés, y si no dominas la lengua anglosajona a la perfección, WMMA 3 es totalmente injugable. Por tanto, mi opinión no puede ser positiva. Es fastidioso, porque parece un juego muy interesante para los entendidos de las MMA. Completa gestión de una compañía que se embarca en la promoción y diseño de carteleras para progresar en este intrincado negocio. Lo he probado pero mis sospechas de injugabilidad por la barrera lingüistica no eran infundadas: harto difícil, reitero, si no dominas la única lengua en la que está el juego. Bien es cierto que luego tiene otros defectos reseñables: No tiene sonido. No tiene opciones gráficas y hay que jugar en modo ventana. Una pena, porque me hubiera encantado poder jugarlo, pero con estas condiciones, lamentablemente tengo que suspenderlo, y no recomendarlo si no se domina el inglés.

Barely recommended, check out WMMA5 on the developer's website instead (also has a demo). This is an older version of the WMMA series and it shows (2015 is only the date it was added to Steam). The main draw is the depth found in the engine that runs the game world. There are multiple companies, thousands of fighters and just a ton of options and information for stat fans and those who love GM sims to enjoy. Also, the play by play mode is great if you are familiar with MMA and know the jargon. With that in mind, the UI is dated, plays in a tiny window, contract negotiations are a headache, needs a lot more filter options for the data and many other quality of life options are missing. This is mostly all fixed in the latest version, but if you get this very cheap or free and can't afford the newest version, then it should provide countless hours of statistical bliss.

I can imagine this being a bit of a hit or miss kind of a game because it's by no means perfect. Be that as it may, I really enjoy it. Ryland seems to be good at sims, but to me his magnum opus so far is the comic book hero version with it's larger emphasis to storytelling, dialogue and whatnot. Add the drama to this one as well and we'll have a killer sim in our hands. Personally, I don't care at all that much for the gameplay. The excellent editor is what makes this stand out for me. I just like to unwind, create new fighters, universes and whatnot in order to kill time. Haven't seen an MMA simulator game that did the aforementioned better than this one yet.

Enjoyable with mods, sadly it gets really tedious after a while when you have to renew 500 contracts
