Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Short conclusion is "It's not worth the time" I haven't played the first installment, so was new to the series. Good grief, does this game not respect your time. The gameplay loop is insanely repetitive (even if addicting) - basically the start of the game is the same as the end of the game. There is some tactics when choosing the style to fight with, but it's underderused and you don't need to think too hard as most enemies don't have special rules to break the mold. Most unlocked moves are also just stronger versions of previous unlocked moves. Hey, this new move does 2 more damage but costs 2 more energy, wow. The story is interesting and humor is acceptable, but my god, for whatever insane reason, they chose the ending to be basically a cliffhanger for the next game. None of these would be a problem if progress was faster and gameplay more tactical, but it's NOT worth the time investment. Which is a shame, because it has good ideas and the pixel art animations and music are both awesome. Sadly, I won't be giving the third installment the chance to redeem is predecessor's issues. Edit: Forgot to mention that what little tactical depth the game had, is almost completely erased by not giving players any relevant information. Skills descriptions are always "Dodge chance is improved" "Block effectiveness is reduced". What does that even mean? Is it 5%, 30%, 60%? Why is this a guessing game? The whole combat system in general is not very well explained and heavily favors energy. You'd think a game about combat would actually bother to explain and balance it.
I recomend the previous entry of this game, or one of their other games (Graveyard Keeper, which I recommded to several friends), but not this sequel. It's too slow, too grindy, tries to put puns and references all the time, and towards the end, you are rushed past many events which could have been spread at different parts of the game and made it feel more whole. The ending? one of the most underwhealing and insatisfactory video game endings I have ever experienced. The Pixel art of the game is great. One of the battle BGM's loops poorly, being a distraction. The Battle system is entertaining and engaging, has enough depth to feel tactic.
genuinely changed the perspective of my life, one of the best fighting games EVER in my opinion, devs if you see this please make the 3rd game into the trilogy im begging, 10/10 best 5 bucks of my life
The first chapter was fine, but after you go to the second chapter it gets way too repetitive. The game also has some buggy parts in it, that the devs forgot to fix even after all this years. For example the quest with the yoga girl.

Boring gameplay loop, youre doing same ♥♥♥♥ over and over again for little progress. Terrible and painfully unfunny dialogue. Super boring game in overal.
