It's one of the most bugged games i've ever played. Indeed it's unplayable for a very large number of issues that were't solved in months of "developping". Indeed it's seriously incomplete, there's neither the function to speed up the payment of taxes, so the unfortunate player must spend minutes putting coins one by one (!).
The demo was better than the actual game — and that’s the biggest red flag here. Whatever build they used for the demo clearly wasn’t the one they released, because the early access version is a technical disaster. NPCs constantly refuse to perform basic tasks, which breaks the entire gameplay loop. The game crashes so often it feels like a feature. Saves fail randomly, meaning hours of progress can vanish without warning. And the worst part? Closing the game doesn’t even close the game. It just hangs in the background and forces me to restart my entire PC every single time. I play a lot of niche, janky, experimental titles. I’m patient. I’m forgiving. I’ve even made small games myself, so I understand how messy development can be. But this isn’t “early access rough.” This is fundamental systems not working at all. It genuinely feels like the team didn’t test the build before pushing it live. Right now, the game is beyond playable. The demo showed potential, but the current release shows a team that isn’t even trying to meet the bare minimum of functionality.
I love the game! but beware there is a bug that i have encountered. if you dont pay attention to the cycles it will glitch on you and make you have to save and reload. Also the exploration building says its not build when clearly it is. Great game though!
I actully kinda of like this game, does it have few bugs here and there but all in all its not that bad i just wish they do updates more often.
Wizdom Academy is getting regular updates that make portions of the game better, support the team to help the game get where it wants to be. But have that in mind when you play. Unfortunately, the speed and process of the initial quests is still keeping me from playing enough of the game to get truly hooked. - The Learning Tree needs some love to match the quest line or some additional quests need to be added to guide the Learning Tree unlock (but at that point is the Tree even serving a purpose?). - Quests feel hurried - WA feels like it should be a chill game but the progression leaves me repeatedly frustrated. - Quests don't recognize if you've recently or already completed them before you get the quest. I am very happy to see that some of the roadmapped student management handling has been added.
Great games just needs some baking time.
Almost 5hrs in, I want to love it, but still super buggy and it's missing some explanations on things. I might give it another chance after some updates.
It has a lot of bugs, but i can enjoy it for a few hours, im exited for the end result
