This was to me a super cozy game and a lot more enjoyable than I thought it would be. With games like these they often only get their appeal from being based on a popular franchise, and the games themselves often end up not really being that good, so my expectations were quite low when I bought this. It, however, turned out to be fun, the world design is really beautiful with all these what I assume, are hand drawn environments that you can freely explore and there was enough gameplay for it to not be boring, so I'm looking forward to play the "sequel" which I already own and I heard should be a much better game. Without spoiling anything important, you are Shin Chan, a 5 year old boy on summer vacation with his family in this rural Japanese village. Before getting there, you meet a strange man who hands you a camera that prints out pictures of whatever it captures. This camera and the strange man become the center pieces in this story later on. I can't really mention too much more without spoiling anything, but there are also dinosaurs! Playing this game feels pretty much like controlling an actual 5 year old. Most time is spent running around exploring, catching bugs, fishing, finding strange plants, playing games and interacting with all the people in this small town. You have this action mask drawing diary where you document all your findings in, like pictures of insects, plants and fish and also every story related moment is logged inside this diary. There is also an encyclopedia where you can look up whatever might still be undiscovered. Beside this, there is also a small farm that you can visit daily to water the plants, a rock-paper-scissors dinosaur turn-based fighting game you can play with the other kids and a lot of bulletin boards across town, all asking for all sorts of items which they pay you money for completing. I think it is important to say, that this game is slow and it feels very japanese in design, with a lot of repetition and scavenger hunting being the core mechanic for most mission objectives, so if you do not like this style, this game definitely isnt for you! Saving in this game is also only done manually and only when the game permits it, which is when you go to bed and switch to a new day. This is slightly annoying at times, but thankfully the days are never really too long, so you still get the chance to save quite frequently. I only ever watched the Chinese speaking version of this show, so I also played through this game in Chinese, but since my Chinese isn't perfect, I would have preferred English subs with Chinese speaking, but that unfortunately isn't an option and only Japanese is available with English subtitles. This is a small thing of course and is probably only a problem for me, but I felt like mentioning it anyway. If you like Shin Chan, I can definitely recommend this game. It does feel very much like being in the shoes of an over energetic and very imaginative 5 year old. The first game of the "My Summer Vacation" series to get localized. While it's technically a Shin-chan spin-off, it maintains all the charm from its predecessors. A great way to relax and immerse yourself on a care-free adventure in rural Japan while exploring and collecting.

[h1]プレイヤーの7割が数時間で脱落している退屈すぎるゲーム[/h1] 　このゲームをお勧めしない理由。それは実績の取得率を見れば明白で、1週間プレイの実績の取得率が3割、2週間プレイの実績の取得率が2割しか無いのである。 　プレイ時間に換算すると1週間当たり3~4時間程度であることを考えると、殆どのプレイヤーが最初の数時間で脱落しているのだ。これだけのプレイヤーがそのような短時間でゲームを投げているというデータがある以上、到底おすすめ出来る訳もない。 　これだけの脱落率を誇る一方、このゲームはクソゲーの類ではない。難易度が高いなどのプレイハードルが存在するわけでも無い。 　そのため、殆どのプレイヤーの脱落理由は「退屈すぎてプレイモチベーションが続かなかった」のだと推測できる。 　ではこのゲームが如何に退屈なのかを述べていくと、まずこのゲームは所謂「ぼくなつライク」に相当するゲームである。この手のゲームは大量のタスクや複数のストーリーラインがワッと叩きつけられ、それを時に効率を考え、時に気ままに消化していくのが楽しみのゲームなのだが、このゲームにはそんな楽しみなど無い。 　イベントの類は2日に一遍程度、特定の場所へ赴きムービーを見るだけ。それを繰り返していれば勝手に各ストーリーは終了していき、サブタスクの類は生物収集などの簡素なものだけだ。 　そんなんだからこのゲームのプレイ時間の多くは、MAPを移動しながら山菜を集めたり、MAP移動で復活する生物を乱獲して時間を潰すだけとなる。 　また、ゲームの作りが粗くユーザビリティが欠如している点もじわじわとモチベーションを削ってくる。 　釣りコンテンツは進みにくく中盤以降はプレイ時間の多くをそこに費やすことになると思うが、カメラの遠さや水面の波紋、夜の暗さなどから魚が食いついているかどうかが非常に分かりにくい。特にカメラが遠いMAPだと、角度によっては魚影が竿に完全に隠れてしまう。 　またありがちな仕様だが、環境音の音量調整が出来ないため環境音が爆音で流れその他の音を全てかき消す。一応釣りにおいて魚が食いついた時に音が鳴るようになっているものの、この爆音環境音の前には判別困難極まる。 　セーブが日付の変更タイミングでしか出来ないのも酷く、更にセーブ後にはそのままノータイムで朝のイベントシーンに切り替わり当然のごとくこのイベント中はメニューを開けないのは輪をかけて終わっている。私はセーブ後にタスクキルでゲームを落とすようになった。 　もとはゲームを起動したままスリープできハード側でゲームを終了させるスイッチ専売のゲームなのでそう横着したのだろうが、スイッチにしたって別に複数のゲームを同時起動出来る訳ではない以上任意セーブは出来なきゃ困るだろう。 　ここまで問題点を挙げてきたが、このゲームは楽しくないだけで不快さもまた特に無い。バグの類は一切なくまたゲームとして破綻している点もない。本ゲームはひたすら退屈ではあるものの、クソゲーとまではいかない。 　またストーリーは全く面白くはない物の原作の世界観を破壊しておらず、その一方でしんちゃんの性格がマイルドかつ紳士的・体罰描写が無いなど、当時よりもさらに厳しくなった現代の価値観に合わせたバランス感覚に優れた演出がされていることも評価点。 　強気すぎる一人前の価格設定さえされていなければ、万人受けはしないけど人によっては楽しめるかも。くらいの立ち位置に収まっただろう。 [b]個人的評価額:1,200JPY[/b]

I played this game to learn some japanese and cuz this type of games always were making me curious about them. In short tho, it's pretty much a walking sim with some collectable and mini game elements. The strongest part of this game are the visuals, sounds and just overall presentation and the feel. Incredibly cozy and viby. Just chilling, fishing, watering the plants and enjoying the crazy story. The game is incredibly looking. I love small hub worlds where you slowly expand them but there are still small and carefully crafted Good ♥♥♥♥ if you wanna chill or learn japanese, might wanna try it out to see if it sticks otherwise

팬심으로 올업적 했지만 짱구 팬이 아니면 엄청 강추느낌은 아닌듯

엔딩 보는데 10시간도 안 걸리는 게임 번들로 구매해서 덤이라고 생각해 엔딩까지 봤지만 개별 구매했으면 돈이 너무 아까웠을듯... 아기들이 하기에 좋을 것 같음

设置方面堪比一根成年香蕉，操作性和可玩性也一般，开头选项设置也跟没选一样走个过场，也就画风还行

刚开始玩就能感觉到明显的差距.. 想玩这个系列的建议去玩煤炭镇的小白 感觉这代指引好差，配音和字幕居然不能分开选！！！

Playing this game during a summer heat wave is quite the immersive experience. Other than that, it's a bit disapointing they turned down the ecchi stuff from the Shin-chan franchise but i guess it was to be expected since this game target a very young audience. Anyway It's not a bad game but it's very mild, so if you are into this type of experience you should pick up the sequel which is way more interesting and has way more content.

This is, unfortunately, a half-baked demo for the sequel, Shiro and the Coal Town. It's very tempting if you came into this series from the sequel to drop a few bucks for this game out of curiosity. Just. Don't. This game is half the length of the sequel. You barely drive the narrative, as things just seem to happen on their own no matter what you do. The art is inferior. The music is inferior. The story is terrible, Saturday morning cartoon drivel, compared to the aching sweetness at the core of Coal Town. I'm glad this walked so Coal Town could fly, but ... wow, it's bad.
